Strengths: Alyx has a generally calming personality and tends to act as a de-stressor in times of high tension. Her connection to the air and wind is strong, and growing stronger every day. She has a sharp, analytical mind, even though it is often tempered by naïveté.
Weaknesses: Alli has always had a weak body and respiratory system, making her prone to overly weak periods when her body cannot cope. She is overly trusting and idealistic, believing that everyone will see her way eventually. She can be overly accommodating at times, as well, and tends not to have much of a backbone. She is also claustrophobic.
Five words to describe:
• Introverted
• Idealistic
• Intelligent
• Youthful
• Naïve
General impression: Alyx comes off as a quiet girl, not often letting her fierce intelligence or magnificent wishes show through her introverted, shy exterior. She has great hopes for the future, but these are tempered by an uncertainty in herself—low self-confidence. She tends to think the best of everyone and can be easily misled or betrayed. She isn’t one for giving second chances, however.

History

Important family members:
• Adalyn Caelestis - - mother
• Ronald Caelestis - - father
Family members in IFS: - -
Vital notes on: When Alyx was about five years old, she contracted a vicious respiratory disease—Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or COPD. Her parents, concerned for their daughter’s life, moved the family to Boston where she could be constantly monitored by the big-city hospital. Although the disease isn’t fully reversible, Alyx was eventually able to leave the hospital. She expresses a wish to want to return to Little Salem to be closer to the other witches, so that she could develop her powers, and her parents complied. However, since Ronald’s job was already long-established in Boston, Alyx was forced to move back on her own and live with some family friends—other witches.

Brief sample RP of your character: Alyx stepped out of the car with her parents and let out a prolonged sigh. Running her hands through her short hair, she lifted her head up to gaze around her: clear skies, punctuated by the occasional white cloud here and there. Not bad weather, and certainly fine enough since there was a blazing ray of sunlight beating down upon her, as well. Still, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of foreboding, as if the gentle breeze tickling past her spoke of worse things to come. After all, it had been ten years since she had lived in this small town—it was normal enough to feel anxious about moving back, wasn’t it?

“Are you ready?” Her mother asked in a falsely cheery voice—Alyx knew well her mother’s opinion on this move, although her father seemed to be all for it.

“Mm,” she nodded, and then followed her mother towards the house in front of them, her father brining up the rear with Alyx’s suitcases. She had tried to tell him that she was cured, now—lifting one suitcase wouldn’t cause her lungs to collapse, but he had not listened. Alyx told herself he was only trying to make things easier for herself, but is was so easy to feel stifled, underappreciated. Still, these two were allowing a lot to let her live so many miles away from them, they had to believe in her to some degree. Alyx smiled, now, a small grin pulling at her plump lips. She looped her hands through the pockets of her worn hoodie and raced to catch up, the wind pulling through her dark hair.
