YOUR CHARACTER
General
Full name: Liviana Amelia Donovan
Nickname: Liv
Gender: Female

Sired/Hereditary: Sired by Braeden Donovan
Capabilities: • Pyrokinesis -- when someone is capable of catching objects ablaze. For a young vampire this may only consist of a match or candle (things that are easy to make burn) but as time goes on it can become much more volatile.

Cuts, bullet holes, or other torn flesh will heal over and look as good as new and broken bones will reform in a short period of time. Five words to describe: Intelligent, giving, helpful, strong, wordly.
General impression: Liviana is a quite, solitary being. While she does enjoy certain people's company, she prefers to be alone. She is respectful of everyone she feels deserves her respect, and doesn't give many others the time of day.
History
Important family members: None.
Family members in IFS: The Donovans.
Vital notes on history:Born into a life of sex workers and drug addicts, Liviana was taken from her incompetent mother at a very early age and dumped in an orphanage in the outskirts of London. She was abused both physically and emotionally by the staff right up until she turned 12 and decided she would leave. In the dead of the night, she slipped away.
For the next eleven years she barely survived, living on the streets, not having anyone to turn to except London's other homeless who could barely be trusted. At 16 she began her mother's path of prostitution, selling herself in order to eat.
On her 23rd birthday, she was attacked by a man. He had taken her to a hotel where he beat her almost to death. Battered and broken, Liviana barely saw a second man enter the room and promptly kill her attacker. Her mind faded to black.
When she regained consciousness Liviana found herself in a room of lush decor, and felt a strange new presence inside her. Braeden Donovan had sired her, bringing her back from the brink of death with a brand new hunger for life.
Brief (less than 500 words, please) sample RP of your character:
Little Salem High school was a dank place to be in the fall evenings. A thick layer of fog surrounded the buildings, and the twilight could barely be seen from inside the library. Liviana pondered how long it would be until she would clearly see the stars again. She so loved watching them; spotting constellations, watching for shooting stars, wishing she could remain under them forever. Alas, she could not. There was still one star that haunted her days. The sunlight that stopped her from smelling the sweetly spring flowers, or spending endless hours soaking in saltwater at the beach. She could not be out in daylight now. This had been the norm for a quarter of a century, and she missed it, the warmth.
A sharp knock on the door interrupted her nostalgia, and with a deep breath Liviana pushed herself up from her sitting place, the book on her lap falling to the floor. She bent to pick it up and smiled. The Eleventh Hour had been her favorite children’s book for many years. Apart from the slightly tattered cover, the book never got tired.
The knock on the door repeated, this time sounding a little more urgent, and Liviana rolled her eyes as she moved to unlock it. As the heavy, oak door creaked open she poked her head out into the corridor. No one. Another knock and run, she thought bitterly. I hate these students. She scowled as she closed the door again, and returned to her lounge in the corner. She flopped down, sprawled across the upholstery, and buried her face in her hands. “When will I ever be rid of this place?” she moaned. As much as she loved working in the library, the idea of being around students didn’t appeal to her. She never had the chance for schooling herself, and she somewhat envied the children attending Little Salem High. Liviana had spent most of her early years stealing books from London’s national library. She had quite the collection by the time she was fifteen. By then she’d read them all many times over, and absorbed the knowledge kept inside them. Books were what kept her going, what made her want to keep on living. She could learn so much about the world from them, learn that there was much more to life than what was around her.
Liviana took another deep breath and closed her eyes. “Let’s not go back there,” she said quietly. “You don’t need to think about that anymore.”
