I'm hoping to organize a small group outing out to Lower Pierce Reservoir to take some photos this Monday ~ Wednesday.

Kind of a late notice, but let me know if you're interested.

Venue can always be changed if anyone has better suggestions! Hopefully we can shoot till sunset where it's always a great time to get good photos because of the dramatic lighting. :lol:

Sorry, sudden change of plans because just found out that my school has rescheduled an important test to Tuesday morning.

So it seems that I'm only available this Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday.

Oooh ... fireworks. I'd be shooting from the Da Fu, M.V Cheng Ho out at the Singapore waters. Hopefully can get some good shots of the fireworks as well.

Fireworks expert can look for Chee Kong. :P

Actually I do believe any lens would do.
Unless you want REALLY good shots, then I think telephoto, fisheye or wideangle would suffice.

Just set it at a really small aperture so you don't get any flare and darken out the rest of your possible distractions.

Oh and.. Maximum ISO if doing handheld shots! :D

Hmz ... doubt I'd be shooting fireworks liao. Too lazy to bring tripod since I'm actually covering an event.
