Sure , i'm a 31 YO guy who just picked up photography.. or should i say just bought a DSLR. Using a Alpha100. Got sick of taking horrible pics and figured better start learning from people who know what their doing. :)

:D Hi everyone, i'm a 27 yr old guy who loves to see things from many different perspective. I love to see things and do things differently, esp from the norm.
Looking at the world thru the camera lens allows my heart to open to new views.
I wish to share what i see to everyone and i love to hear views and perspectives.

No single view is right and not all views are wrong. B)

Hello!

Isaac here, I was one of the students from the fundamental dSLR courses in January. I'll be 18 in April and I study in Republic Poly.

In a nutshell, I took up photography as a hobby because it allows people to really 'look' at the world, instead of just taking glances at it. Through the photographer's lens, you see things that you don't normally see. This is one of the reason's why I prefer macro photography as compared to the others, because you see pretty much every single detail of whatever you're taking photos of.

Another reason why I took up photography was because I like pictures that stirs up emotions and thoughts, and brings about a sense of nostalgia or so to speak.

Anyway..

I'm not a big fan of forums so I didn't actually try to post on the forums at first, haha!
I think I saw Cecil and Jerry posting in the critique section..

If anyone intends on going around Singapore taking pictures, let me know! Because most of my friends don't enjoy photography so I'm looking for people to travel around and taking photos with!
