Title: Pulau Perhentian
Description: Malaysian Island
Isaac - September 16, 2008 01:48 AM (GMT)
Pulau Perhentian is a gorgeous island paradise that resides just 25km off the coast of Kuala Besut. When I first saw pictures of the island, I barely believed it was actually in asia, let alone in Malaysia.
It looks like an ideal place for shooting or just to get away from the troubles of life; and I'm actually wondering if it's worth a visit. This is the official link to the Perhentian Island
website.
If a lot of people are interested in visiting this island, maybe we could collaborate efforts and hire a coach to take us there. However, from what I read, the coach will only be cost effective if 10 or more people are traveling together..
Just wondering what you guys think about this.. :)
Some pictures..

poor Isaac
Noone reply in your message huh
The question is why Pulau Perhentian ?
There is some alternative, the scenary is beautiful too but the distance is shorter, such as Pulau Ubin :P or Pulau Bintan :P

Well.. the one main thing that makes people go "Wow.. that beach is amazing!" is mainly the color of the water..
Since Pulau Perhentian has such pristine water, when you take pictures of the beach there it really doesn't seem like those shots were taken anywhere near Singapore. Let alone in Malaysia! :)

Yeah, I like the color of the beach.
The green seawater and the white sand is beautiful.
Is it a forest in the 3rd picture ? Can shoot animals too ? Insects ? Monkeys ?

It's highly possible that there will be wildlife on that island because it's mostly untouched by people.
So I do believe this island is ideal for anyone, and I do mean anyone!
Because we have wildlife, sea life, landscapes, portraiture of locals, urban and so on.. And even for those who just want to sit back and relax, it's all there for them!
:)
Oh and as for insects.. there'll probably be plenty. It is after all still in Asia.. ;)

I think just two of us are interested.
So we can go there together for dating

Hahaha, strange how nobody else responds to this topic!
It's a big cost-saver when compared to going all the way to western countries to get this kind of scenery..!

I will try to do some research first..
Perhaps we can plan this a week or two before Christmas and those that have remaining leaves from work can join us. :)
