It's a photomarathon competition that requires all participants to go out and capture and submit photos in the same day and complete the assignments tasked to them within 3 hours per category..!

I'm looking for a group of people who want to join me on this 'adventure' in a hunt to capture the perfect photo! ;)

Just read rule no.7, if you win then you must bring your own camera. What happened if they find you don't use Canon ? Too bad I only have one so can't lend you.

I don't think that should be a problem Master Jeff..

Following the competition rule #2 for the Photomarathon, it says that participants may use any digital camera to shoot.

I believe that if they're going to allow this, then the Photo Clinic shouldn't be any different..

This sounds interesting =).. Isaac, izzit a team event? I can't find any information on that in the website. The registration form online looks like it's a singles event.

It's not a team event, but it'd be more interesting to have friends to join you!

Besides, it's not about winning.. it's about learning new things and having fun!

Maybe you won't believe me, when taking pictures with many people make me under pressure,
If I was under pressure, the result won't be as good as when I am hunting alone. This has already happened several times.

Still don't know why :unsure:

That's cos u subconsciously compare urself with others. This is human nature. We tend to give ourselves this pressure in the unhealthy way, resulting in fear of not being able to perform. Instead, use this pressure in a positive manner i.e. tell urself that if they can do it, so can I. (Afterall if Yan can cook, so can u! :lol: )

How was the outing?

Yes, how was that? :wacko:

The outing was great! But tiring, and disappointing. 80% of the locations we wandered off to were horrible..

Also, I think the judges should get relieved of their jobs because they're not very good at being judges!

I've written all about it on my photoblog.. you can read it there. :)

Other than that, it was a load of fun hanging out with Darry and my other friend! Shooting with company is always a delightful feeling ^_^

I'm starting to think that a 24-70mm F2.8 lens is going to come in very handy when I'm shooting street photos.. I'm deliberating on whether I need a 24-70 or a 12-24 more now.. :lol:

Because I had some problems getting proper photos with my kit lens.. :)

Previously I had also considered about choosing between 24-70 f/2.8, but after considering the weight, I think the lens is not for me ;)
