Title: Hey Everyone!

I'm Doug probably one of the youngest member at 12yrs old since PSLE is over i'd get myself a hobby other than reefing... So i came upon this site via www.julianw.com... But erm... I dun use DSLR for my shots but i use Lumix DMC-FZ18 instead i promise once my cash flow is back i'll try to get a DSLR... <_<

Hi Doug,
I saw your pictures in Photo Gallery that were taken using Panasonic Lumix FZ-18 ?
It's a nice compact cam ! Sometimes I am still thinking to carry compact camera with 18x optical zoom, due to its light weight & the price of course. Can't imagine how much I must spend to achieve the same optical zoom using DSLR :unsure:

Wow, I'm really curious as to what got you into photography at such a young age.. At 12 I was probably still out running around being a rascal! :P

I'm also currently having a Panasonic Lumix FZ-5, besides using my sony A700. But I use it to take videos nowadays. Me too started taking pictures at your age, can remember it was a pentax film slr camera.
Exams ending soon right? Do well and hope to hear from you again... :)
PS - we got another 'Ah Boy' liao...

Hello all,
I use my wife's & daughter's Follow Me UV skin whitening gel :D
But don't overdo it or you become white like Michael Jackson....a white artificial monkey :P
I think Peter hit the nail on the head. Alot of it has to do with the mind and heart :D
Also I think because of the life style and people like my generation (post war babies) are. We tend to be more "healthy" relative to the younger generation.
But I still need to reduce my tummy abit. :lol: :P

I don't dig music too strongly although I used to sing tenor in church choir.
For most music it's one-ear-in n-one-ear-out. When I do listen the singers are the "lau-beh" singers like Elvis, Engelbert, Clifford Richard, etc.

Yes, camera sensor is same with your eyes, sensitive (can damage) against very bright light ;)
