Title: Full-day Photoshoot
Description: Spanning most of Singapore

Isaac - October 28, 2008 07:27 AM (GMT)
I have organized a full-day photoshoot for the 30th of October from sunrise to sunset that requires us to travel almost all over Singapore.

Well, at least to the places where there are things to shoot for free since my friends and I are on a low budget!

We will be travelling from

- Punggol Beach (Sunrise)
- Little India
- Kampong Glam & Sultan Mosque
- Botanic Gardens
- Toa Payoh, Chinese Garden or Lakeside (Sunset)

Since we do not possess a car, it will be preferable if those tagging along would either provide transport or simply ride public transportation with us. :)

We will meet up at Punggol MRT Station(NEL) by 0530h and hopefully look for some breakfast nearby.

Sunrise will be shot at Punggol Beach @ 0647h until all of us are done and satisfied.

Sunset will be shot at TPY, Chinese Garden or Lakeside @ 1851h until all are done and satisfied.

Please bring along all your desired gear ranging from portrait lenses, general photography lenses and landscape lenses. Tripods are recommended as well.

Contact me ASAP at 94894250(Isaac) if you wish to come along.

Hope to see you there!

Cheers
Isaac :)

Isaac, why do you arrange an outing during the weekday
Lot of friends here are still working at that time !
Better to rearrange on Sunday, I think ...

Isaac,

For sunrise and sunset shots, try to be there at least 30min before the stated timing. You need time to spot the location and set-up. The window is very short, once you miss it, you've to wait for the next sunrise/set again.

Cheers,
Peter

Punggol Interchange has a small little shop, where there're light bites. However, not sure if it opens that early.

My recommendation is to check the route for bus no. 82, which takes u straight into Punggol end. From there, you can see which are the locations that could probably have coffee shops that open as early as 5 or even 24hr ones.

As for sunset, you might wanna try Labrador. The weather has been much better lately so you just might net a good catch.

Oh and thank you Peter for providing such great suggestions and help! Although I only managed to read them when I got back..

As for Labrador Park.. where is it situated? Is it in the Clementi area?

Labrador Park is just further down from Hort Park... if you are still interested to know.

When you come out from Hort Pk, walk down along Alexandra Rd (you'll pass by NOL Bldg, PSA Bldg), go across the traffic junction at Telok Blangah Rd/Pasir Panjang Rd and you should be able to see signs to Labrador Pk...
