Visited Kampong Lorong Buang Kok on Sunday. Enjoyed exploring this rustic beautiful Kampong :) Shot 1 roll of b&w film while there.
This is one of many paths leading into the Kampong

#1
A hand made sign indicating the direction to the Kampong. The rickshaw is nice!

#2
One of the many charming Kampong houses, this house has a wooden fence and wooden gate.

#3
An alley way between houses. In the past, villagers can build their houses as they like so the layout is a bit messy with houses facing different directions, many alley ways were thus created out.

#4
Another Kampong house, some villagers are in their house watching TV.

#5
This is the drainage system in the Kampong. This drain drains water into a nearby river, Sungei Punggol. There is a kingfisher in the middle of this photo but its very hard to see, i also saw a moniter lizard on this visit.

#6
There are a few wooden bridges in the kampong like this one, they are built for villagers to cross over the drains

#7
An old road sign. 1954 may be the year the place is named.

#8
A bright red hibiscus, the hibiscus here are huge! This one is bigger than the size of my palm

#9
A view of an open area in the Kampong, many palm trees around.
