Flash was fired for all photos that's why there are some hotspots and harsh shadows. Wasn't paying much attention to them though, just wanted to upload photos of the tripod as I promised.

Great product write-up ! Can you buy a manfrotto or benro tripod and do the same write-up too ???

Isaac - March 26, 2009 12:32 PM (GMT)
bearbear: Thanks! But I feel there's always room for improvement! As shifu says: There's no such thing as a perfect photo!

soulexpress:  Peter, if I had the money to buy a Benro or Manfrotto, don't you think I would have since they're obviously the more professional choice? But instead I had to settle for a write-up of one of the more amateur models..

Anyways, anyone looking to buy a tripod should take a look at this model because it's 'somewhat' economically priced(as is with most camera equipment). It has a sturdy build and the level adjusters are amazingly smooth and easy to align into position for precise shots. This is especially important in landscape photography where you want your horizon to be perfectly straight.

Going for only a $140, it's an amazing steal. :D

Maybe can find the supplier to sponser Isaac for any advertised write-up... :P
seems like after being limited to the basic tripod, the advanced photographer could upgrade to this and work on to the next level. the same goes for lens too...
this post may well poison the mind of the readers to invest in a good tripod... whahahaha~*
:D

Oh that's awesome tripod, man ! Best buy for $140 only !
Thank you for the picture. Bro Peter scold me because I asked you to post this picture at previous thread

Mine is Gitai Nomad Tripod...
You spend less then me but yours are better ! :D

Isaac - March 26, 2009 04:44 PM (GMT)
Haha, bro Peter also reprimanded me for that, that's why I shifted the post here.:lol:

I almost bought the Gitai model also, but I was actually looking more at the ballhead than anything else because I prefer tripods that allow precision adjustments instead of jerky movements which can be very very irritating!

Isaac - March 26, 2009 05:45 PM (GMT)

Do you know that it cost about $150 for the ballhead only like your type for Manfrotto brand ?

With $140 you get both tripod & ballhead right ? ;)

Isaac - March 26, 2009 06:50 PM (GMT)
Yes, I know!

That's why I said this tripod was a great, great buy! :D

Eh eh ... 2 of you jokers arh ... "scold n reprimand" seems a little too strong duncha think .... *kokZ*

Remind .... is a more politically correct term to use. Bo bian, as a mod, my duty to maintain law n order in the most peaceful manner. :ph43r:

soulexpress - March 27, 2009 04:12 PM (GMT)
Actually I myself have a tripod to let go ... the YongNuo 3 section one .... Cos I need a Manfrotto. Anyone keen on a 2nd hand tripod ?

Isaac - March 27, 2009 09:12 PM (GMT)
Just got mine, so I obviously don't need one..

Maybe Keith? :D

kthgcg - March 28, 2009 04:52 AM (GMT)
