For doug and pawpet, both like the sharp/blur effects. Photos taken in the last 2 days. Need help to ID the first flower. All comments welcome :)

Very crisp and clear shots, but I think the angle for the 2nd shot should be lowered a little to get the full view of the insect's side because from the current angle, the wings are blurred out which isn't very aesthetically pleasing. :)

I love the colors though :D

100 mm using 100mm f/2.8 Sony Macro Lens ? ;)

liked the white flower more, perhaps its the contrast with white and green background~* both are good shots... :)

Hi Isaac thanks for the comment, hmm changing the angle changes the view of the flower..my primary objective is actually the flower..but shall look into the new angle if i get the chance again :)

Sure, macro lens at 90mm(cropped factor=135mm). M mode, ISO 200, F8, 1/60 seconds. Shot in the evening before sun set because at this time the light is soft. Focusing was on the yellow anther, exposure for the white petals.

Hey it rhyme haha..Unless i am the first to discover ths flower, I dare not have a plant named after me, this is a honor to great people. Eg. the pink flower variant of the virgin tree is named after Queen Sirikit of Thailand, well known for her charitable works.

Yes, I already had :

1. Keithsantemum --> can be used for baby boy name
2. Evolusufia --> can be used for baby girl name

Well, anyone who want to use that name for your baby name, well there is copyright for that :rolleyes:
