Model: Kseniya

I love the feel the photo gives off, but it's cut back a little bit because of how obscured the eyes are by the hair.

Perhaps if you managed to get a similar shot, but with the eyes more visible and with a sparkle to them?

But then again, of course there's always the intention of possible implication of an idea or mood to consider.. :)

Love the warmth that's flowing out of the photo literally. Would've loved to see a similar shot where her left eye is staring straight at the camera, with posture unchanged.

Kseniya portrait in 2007 !
Wwhere did you meet her ?

Eyes look to the camera with sparkling eyes are good in portrait, but not compulsory .
If compulsory, then no unique anymore ...

Just follow the mood ;)

Thanks guys, there are indeed a lot of what-ifs about this photo in particular.

Of the entire shoot of 330 photos - only this photo turned out unique.

It was shot with the humble tamron 17-50, and it had a slight Back focus issues.

Lucky shot? I guess!

and Jeff, it's a different Kseniya. ;) The one we shot last Sunday, she's way taller. :P

Thanks...

about the hair: That's the thing I liked about it... a quality other photos of the same shoot didn't really catch. :D
