Hi Doug,

Pic a bit far away. Closer would be better, I think.

But then it depends on what you were trying to show.

Hi Doug,

Good try on this night shot.

My overall feel is that the picture is slightly over-exposed. Just a few pointers to improve on...
1) try using smaller apertures (eg f20 and above) with a shutter speed of abt 20~30 secs. Smaller apertures wil render a sharper image on far away subjects and also gives you a starry effect on light source... (only if you like the starry effect, I mean).
2) try to take night shots when there are still light in the sky (ie dark blue sky, better if there's moving clouds), usually abt within half an hour after sun set. That would make your picture more interesting.

Hope these help... Cheers!!

O I see... then perhaps you can reduce your shutter speed to abt 20secs, that shd gives you a more balance exposure.

Cheers!!

AMAZING PICTURE!

I love the colors!

Angle can be improved though.. the Flyer looks abit.. "awkward".

Just to sidetrack a bit.. anyone know if it's possible to do a night scene panorama with 30 sec exposures? I think if Doug's photo was done in a panorama, it'd be gorgeous!?
