Well, I've been taking a photography elective class in school recently and it's been VERY hard to do themed shoots in such a small location with barely any colors. (Republic Poly has only like green and gray colors throughout the entire campus)
It really does push the limits of your imagination!
Since the campus is so dull, I figured that perhaps a more serious tone being applied would be much easier on my part. Serious to me meaning black and white, noise, dark shades etc.
First Theme - Loneliness (Has to be silhouetted)

I wasn't going for "abstract" for this shot, something which I had in mind at first but changed because of the limited resources and locations because it was raining that day!
Second Theme - Reflection

Once again, due to limited resources, I opted for a black and white photo and vignetted it for more focus on the words instead of the silhouette. A different take on our normal "reflection" which could mean reflections off mirrors and water etc.
3rd Shot (Not done in school, just took today through a rare opportunity upon waking)

The caption may not be appropriate per se, but I saw this king fisher waiting for a meal out of my fish pond(which it actually got without any hesitation at all, let alone permission from me) so I captioned the photo "Patience". It's supposed to be like one of those inspiration posters you see at bookstores..
Anyway, C&C is always welcome! :)
Cheers,
Isaac
P.S.
Doug, maybe this would answer your question about the contest you participated in themed "Reflections", right? ;)
