The photo show sadness of the animal being lockup... ;) the eyes somehow were telling mi tat he wasnt happy there... :unsure:

rule of thirds in terms of placement of eyes and hands
black and white removes distraction that colour sometimes causes
not sure, but focus seems to be on hands on bars, rather that on the eyes (tho' those are also pretty sharp) :unsure:
lighting also seems focused on hands on bars. :unsure:
overall, pic has strong emotional contents showing a sad gorilla who has lost his freedom. :(
Oh poor Orang Utang. Look like being cage up in a confined space with no freedom.
