Hihi.
What do you think of the shot? And what do you think the photographer look out for when he took this shot?

i'm stumped...
the seashell is in focus, but i doubt that's the product. can't tell if product is the seashell, soap, tissue paper or the containers...
the flowers and the picture are distracting tho' out-of-focus. would be better if they weren't there...
left bit of seashell is cut off along with part of the left flower
right edge of picture frame isn't vertical
the flower vase is blocked with a wee bit peeking out above the seashell
also, there's a dark brown table with a light brown strip behind it. the light brown strip starts from the left edge but doesn't quite extend all the way to the right (it disappears behind the tissue box. i find that a bit distracting too...
am i being too picky.... :P :P :P

haha...this photo achieved its intended purpose.
Good observation cecil! In fact, this shot was photoshopped quite a bit..did you also notice that the photographer tried very hard to keep all the lines as straight as possible (vs the side of the frame)?

it's looks like a casual office desk photo. I feel that the details lies on the seashell.
My sequence of attention starts with the tissue box, then the frame behind, dropping down to the soap box and then finally on the seashell where I lingers longer and then to the flowers at the back before finally settling back on the seashell to examine the details.
The foreground objects are probably the subjects, maybe they are gift items? The background picture and flower are probably to give a sense of lifestyle.
Am I thinking too much ...haha

haha, of course not :)
In fact, this section is meant to help the participants to pay more attention to the photos, so that hopefully, one can be constantly reminded about the importance of good photo composition...especially during photo-taking :)
