Hi Isaac,

I like your pictures! :)
Care to give some tips how you did it? :P
Do you mind add me as your kaki?

Isaac - March 11, 2008 09:15 AM (GMT)
I don't really use that whole "rule of thirds" and all those other things Julian taught us during lesson time.

Sorry Julian! Haha :)

When I take pictures I just snap and snap and snap and make sure the pictures come out with decent lighting and vivid colors.

Also, I make sure that the subject is defined clearly!

My motto: If something catches your eye, make sure you catch it on camera! [ Of course it has to be a properly composed picture too.. ]

Hope that helped. :P

Hi Issac,

It's alright :)

It's good to know the "rules" but it is important to break the rules too! And you're right to say that the subject must be defined clearly :)

Continue snapping yah? I'm sure you can also contact jerry to go shooting together as he is also looking around for kaki :)

Kind regards,
JW

Hi Isaac,

I always make it a point to view the Exif data as part of learning process.
But I notice sometimes pics do not display the Exif when one click the properties.
So how does one overcome the shortfall?

Hi Robert,

This happens if the photo is "exported for web", where a copy is created wholly in a new file.

If it's done as a "save-as", exif would be brought over. :)
