Where To Start

It is always helpful to start with the boards Rules & Plot.

Both are areas that will deeply affect your character, simply due to the fact that they outline the boards and the world in which this RP is set.

Please make sure you read the rules carefully as there are parts of them that you will need to remember for later on in the application process.

There are other threads within the 'Important Files' forum that may be of some use. Although they are not something we require you to read they can be helpful in helping you understand how the boards runs.

Deciding on a Character

Choosing what sort of character to play is a vital part in joining a board. The character that you choose add to the dynamics of the board and will effect the way in which other characters interact with your character.

After choosing your character you need to name them. Register an account with the first and last name of your character

There are different applications for different creatures.

Most applications only require the normal, shorter, application sheet. However there are a few that require an extended application.

The extended application form is needed if you are playing one of the following creatures:

Demons
Werewolves
Vampires
Elementals
Dragon/Part Dragon
Your own made up race

We do allow you to make up races but you will need to fill out an extended application form in a lot of detail to get it accepted.

After working out which application form you need you will need to actually complete the form.

Post your application in the applications forum, in a new topic, with your characters name as the topic title

The Acceptance of a character

Very few characters get accepted first time round.

Most people will come back to their application and find that it has multi-coloured writing all over it.

This is nothing personal. It simply means we would like you to work on certain aspects of the application before it is accepted. We have had problems in the past with being too lenient and so have started to be more stringent with applications

If you have any problems with something that has been written on your application please feel free to PM the admin that has been dealing with your application to talk to them about it.

Once we believe the application is to a high enough standard then we will accept the application and change your status on the boards.

What to do after being accepted

Joining a new bored can be daunting at the best of times - so here is a list of the things that may help you to merge into the everyday RP of the boards:

The above are all things you can do if you wish but are not necessary to you joining in the RP.
