Lord and Lady - This rank is the highest of ranks. These dragons are in charge of the entire clan. Never would it be wise to tick them off. They can do whatever they want and when they want. They are very wise and know not to go off and do something stupid. But even so, the best of brains still make their own mistakes. They are usually the ones to accept a member and are the only ones that can change a rank of the chosen member.
Seeth and Seethan - These dragons are the seconds to the Lord and Lady. They follow their orders and aid them when it's needed. These dragons can accept another into the clan but can do nothing about change their rank except for give them high or low marks with the Lord or Lady
Xemra and Xemrane - This rank is to be seen highly. They are the High Guardians of the clan and look out for everyone. They are seen as third in command and are usually really good in all ranks. They are looked up to for their bravery and cunning. Not many would like to go up against one of these Dragons.
Gropa and Groma - Though these dragons aren't in their prime, they still have a lot of knowledge behind them. These dragons are the oldest pair of the clan and usually have been the Lord and Lady. They know practically everything there is to know about the clan as well as a few juicy stories to tell the young ones before bed, or just to keep them occupied for ten minutes.
Guardians - These Guardians are like the police squad. They are very strong and witty. More often than not, their faces are stern, more like a Guard at a castle rather than a police man. They are usually the first to be informed when an intruder is about that is, if the Lord and Lady have been preoccupied. That and these creatures aren't too hard to find.
Captain - Dragons with this rank should not be messed with. There is usually only one captain but if numbers are great there could be another. These Dragons know everything about war and will make sure their Killers know how to fight. They do not tolerate misbehavior but will help new recruits if they need a little bit of guidance. But even that can go too far.
Chief - This Dragon is a great provider. They know all the good places to find wild berries as well as the occasional meat if that is what is wanted on the menu for the night. This Dragon will lead the Providers to gather as much food as they need or can get if their numbers are far too great. They might even lead the Providers off of the lands to find other means of food that could be just as good or better than what they already have.
Killer - These are the fighters of the clan. Trained and punished by their Captain it's a wonder if they weren't as good as he/she. They are ready for battle at any given moment and as soon as they hear their Captains call, they are up in an instant and ready before the rest of the clan.
Provider - These Dragons are very strong. Usually they are very skilled hunters but some might only be skilled in the art of the forage. What ever it is they all help each other out to bring the food back to the clan and to a safer location. They listen to their Chief as to know what sort of food they will be bringing in. Usually no other rank will scavenge but they may ask some others to help with a hunt, usually a Killer or two.
Highwings - These Dragons are the main guards of the clan. They patrol the boarders and make sure there are no trespassers. If they spot one they are usually quick to get to a Guardian if need be. They have excellent eye sight and hearing ability and can easily spot trespassers. But even then there are some that can still get by. Not everyone is perfect.
Tiers - This is a rank for the beginning Dragons of the Clan. All new Dragons are usually placed at this rank and work their way up. Or down if they mess up badly. This is the rank that is most looked at by the Lord and Lady. They decide whether a dragon stays or is sent away from the land forever
Serpent - This rank is the lowest of the low. These dragons are not very skilled and usually get in the way of things. They may try to help but usually they slip up and ruin what was already accomplished. However, some Dragons here are just a plain bother and not worthy of any rank at all. They are often used as bait and not many care if they die or become seriously wounded.
