When these lands were discovered by the immense dragons of the past, the land was how it was, yet more fertile and younger. The settlers were the 4 main clans. The Hesjing had arrived first, seemingly control vast among of water bound territories. Then the Edar had approached. In the south the Thrae came, and then from the barren east, the Ixens. They were calmly at peace until the Edar and Ixen had a miscommunication and a war broke out between the two Clans over land dispute. The Hesjing and Thrae stayed from there affairs, not wanting to take any consideration from it. Though, dragons were not the first settlers of the land. In the very heart of the lands, lay the griffons. A mighty and mystical aura beasts, though there reign soon fell short. They use to be called the guardian of the trees and forest. They were the caretakers of these lands, keeping the land young and fruitful. The Griffons were a very peaceful gathering of beasts. Yet sadly they were the last dying group in the known world.
Everything was peaceful for awhile, the griffons keeping to themselves and not coming into contact with the dragons. Their secretive lives were interrupted in one drastic change by an unexpected event that no one had foreseen. They few family members and gathering of griffons usually took part in what is now known as the Malsvir Clan. The very first evil intended clan to find a perch in the new lands. The griffons were going about a routine ritual and spiritual awakening to keep the forests healthy. Then the dragons came, led by a dark, very unforgiving leader.
He was known as the Dark Lord, no other names were ushered of him. He came in, right when they began there ritual, swooping down upon the unsuspecting griffons. As the griffons were caught off guard, they were killed. Most of them died before knew what was happening. The remainder who escaped the surprise slaughter tried to fight, but only succeeded in delaying the inevitable. Only one griffon survived, and that was back into what is known as the Unclaimed Lands, her clutch of 6 were just hatching, and she had no clue what had happened. Her husband slain, and her family and her friends were all dead. All of her clutch had hatched, as he mind was upon them, and not of the return of the others. Smiling in joy at them, they were young and vulnerable. She began nursing them and bringing them back to health. The day was going perfect for her, until nightfall.
A Hesjing member had seen what had happened and arrived to late to do anything about it. He flew hastily around the lands to find the others, only to stumble upon only the one and her clutch. The mother began to become frightened, panicking at the sight of a dragon. He tried to speak to her, yet they had two different dialects. Wrought with panic and realization that all the others were dead, she became distraught. Her grief overwhelming her as she began to kill off her hatchlings, she would be unable to care for them herself. As she began to kill them, the dragon went into panic, trying to save them it got into the small cave, having to kill the mother before she herself could kill the last hatchling. Thankfully the baby was sleeping as this transaction took place. The Hesjing member wrought with panic took the baby hatchling, the only one who escaped the scythe of death. The dragon flew with haste to the Hesjing territory.
When he arrived, he secretly went to the Lord and Lady, telling them of what had happened and presenting them with the only baby, the sole surviving griffon. From there on out, they began to raise her, secluded, away and keeping the clan, keeping them in the dark, until she was beginning to grow into a vibrant, beautiful Griffon. The Lords, decided it would be best to present her to the Clan now, presenting her as a Goddess to them. A deity one could say. The lords able to use the words in such a smooth fatal blow they had succeeding with the story of her appearance and the message they 'received' from the spirits.
From that moment on, the Griffon grew to be known as the Dragon Priestess, and soon the lady of the Hesjing Clan, yet holding a rank higher then any dragon could dream to achieve.
In the meantime, the Malsvir clan had problems of their own, as well as the other main four packs. Followers who sough to be righteous and peaceful, loving and caring to all, left there clans, finding one another, to create there own Clan, now known as the Malrtivir Clan. This very exact thing happened with the Othokent, yet within there Clan history, they had both came to the lands, and decided on a even divide of the little land still left between the North and south and east, both clans living in harmony.
The different thing could be said of the Malsvir split. A dragon, which had joined the Malsvir, believing he was of the darker ones. Arohkien was this dragon’s name. Arohkien had lived within the ranks of the Malsvir Clan for about 2 to 3 years of his life. His own sought of personal beliefs differed greatly from the Malsvir Clans. Soon, but slowly he began to find dragons within the giant Malsvir clan that shared his same view. Soon he began a rebellion, trying to take the group of dragons he had collected and leave the main clan. The Malsvir not really liking the idea retaliated, trying to kill them all off, and the young, cunning leader as quickly as they can. Preoccupied with the New uprising, the third party, the Varagch Clan, or soon to be known as such snuck away at there prime opportunity, having more of the blood thirsty yet honor attitudes. The new clan, Varagch, staked out the western part of the lands of the Malsvir. The Malsvirs, seemingly to be winning against the uprising, until Arohkien, called for the help of the Hesjing Clan. He had inlisted the help of them not long ago, holding a deep friendship with on of the elders. They came to the summoning and help pushed the Malsvirs back, allowing the remaining Sjach's to flee to stake the Eastern land of the Malsvir. The Malsvir at the same time, finding out the betrayal of the Varagch, were infuriated, with also there lose of there massive stake of land. The Malsvir now mortal enemies of the Varagch, Sjach and the Hesjing.
Arohkien had succeeded in the succession of the Sjach and staking of the eastern territory. Now pointed as the Lord of the Sjach, the powerful and cunning Dragon now roamed the skies, with his own ideas for domination and treatment to other Clans. Everyone was going to be in a world of shook as these new splits will cause up many rivalries and conflicts to come.
