I do not know if this has any thing to do with anything. A couple of months before 911.. not too sure the date.. i came out of the north tower of WTC and was crossing the street and everyone looked up as there was a large jet extremely close to the tower.. it was very loud and i thought it was going to hit. There were lots of people who saw this, but I never heard anything about it. I remember thinking it was American Airlines (unpainted underneath) and I believed it was a 767. I was a little shaken and called a few people at the time to tell them. I remember thinking that they let these planes fly too close to the city. also when the 911 thing happenend, I instantly thought of that insident. Anyway not sure what to think.

That seems very interesting. Could be nothing, but could be a preparatory flight with a remotely controlled airliner. Could you try to give more details ?
What day of the week was it ?
What was the weather like ? (can help to determine the exact day, as well as many other details you would remember)
Do you know anyone who also saw it ?
What colour was the plane ?
Maybe you remember a sales clerk going out of his shop to watch ?
Anything might help to get closer to the truth.

Sorry for the delay.

It was somewhere around march, april or may 2001, I thought at the time it was an American Airlines 767. I can not remember why I was down there at wtc, so its hard to pin point the exact day.. The only way would be to try and get my old cell phone bill from then if its possible. I called someone I never call 5 mins after so it would be possible to work out . It was in the morning for sure. Just seemed strange at the time and more so now. There is good chance it was nothing also. There were alot of people who noticed it .
