Title: Old Research

EasilyConfused - August 16, 2006 10:48 PM (GMT)
I was intending to post this in the debate topic as instructed under the forum rules, but because of the...unusual rules of the debate forum, I am unable to post there. I believe this fits this forum area best, but if I am mistaken, my apologies, and feel free to move this post to the correct area.

Now then. I saw the Loose Change video a month or two ago, and I must say I was apalled, not by the allegations, but by the shoddy fact checking. Recently I stumbled upon an interesting "companion guide" of the video at http://www.ccdominoes.com/lc/LooseChangeGuide.html Perhaps you've seen it. In any event, I was wondering whether there has been any response to the critique from the makers of the film. If there is already some writing on it or something, I'd appreciate being directed there. Otherwise, I'd love to hear what individual people think about this.

Thank you for your time.

This is old news. There are many threads on this guide and others like it. For the most part they muddy the waters and split hairs. They are filled with personal attacks/character assasinations and don't hold water or historical context. The amount of smoking guns, red flags, evidence, clues, coverups, etc is overwhelming. The writing is on the wall. It's hard not to look at these pieces as loyalist whitewash propaganda. Maybe the intention was good but the misunderstanding of intention of the creators of Loose Change is grossly misrepresented.

I appreciate your comments, but has anyone shown that the author of the piece was wrong with any of his statements? Generalities are easy, but can you back it up with specifics?

the ccdominoes thing is cute but it pu**ies out on the big topics:

william rodriquez witness account of massive explosion in basement BEFORE tower was struck

WTC7 fell at freefall (for 4.5 sec) speed.

WTC1,2 left molten metal. not aluminum
as hot as you want jet fuel to burn, it will not melt steel, nor keep it molten days and weeks afterwards.

concrete pulverization and pyroclastic flow (hot gas) -- show us the chunks of concrete (photo is cool) and explain the source of energy to account for dust cloud
(physics req'd unfort --- yes, a falling building would make dust, NO, there is not sufficient energy in the gravitational stored potential energy to have dust cloud expand to that volume )

I went through each of their points one by one and found that every single fact they had in the documentary didn't check out.

The thread was on here for a few months, but it seems as if they deleted it.
