This is a long shot and it's okay with me if it gets moved to another forum. Here goes.

In 2001, I was living in Wahsihngton Heights , Manhattan, and every day I bumped into as guy named Avi Mundt . He was a nice fellow , highly intelligent and for some reason he spent his days at the coffee house with a laptop computer . He never seemed to go to any work or have a real life.
Once he as drunk, he had told a friend that "There is an airplane waiting for me at all times at JFK airport".
Looking back , I am convinced that he was involved in planning 911.

It gets better : Two months before 911, I saw him. He was terminally ill, in a wheel chair , he looked like a total zombie and he told me had fast-spreading cancer . I never saw him again .
In hindsight - and if I am right, which I cannot prove - I would say this is the way some Agencies dispose of their empoyees who know too much.
Does anyone remember this guy Avi from Wahington Heights?
Does anyone have a similar story about an aquanintance that disappeared in a bizarre way, right before 911?

His name sounds like a jewish name. Was he from israel, or maybe his parents? Or maybe he was a mossad operative. Or, on the other hand, maybe he's just an obscure dude with a laptop and without a job, who died of cancer.....

he was jewish to be sure , and my gut feeling is that he was working for mossad.
one oddity was that he NEVER let anyone see his apartment, and when his mother came to visit from frankfurt, germany , even she was not allowed to see his place.
