Title: Mistake In Narration
Description: 2nd Edition

Hey,

I'd only ever seen Loose Change (original) which I downloaded as I was looking into getting video support for ideas I'd been reading up on about a year or so ago.

I'm just watching 2nd Edition now thanks to the download link posted on this forum and came across a small mistake in narration.

At around 35:35 (probably not accurate on all rips/versions) the film begins to explain the freefall of objects based on gravity.

The on screen display shows:

Distance = 16.08 Seconds....

yet the narration reads

Distance (D) equals sixteen point eight (16.8) seconds...

This error is not repeated when 16.08 is narrated again.

Small mistake, but I hadn't seen it raised here before.
--------------------------

EDIT: One other thing.

Thismay sound like nit-picking, but I a only trying to help :) I love all the effort put towards this project and only want to help see it become perfect.

Regarding narration once again. This time at around 1h16m10s (same version and problems as above mistake) when discussing an article regarding gold storage below WTC narrator reads a quote listing the banks who had interest in the gold.

On screen display reads:

"Chase Manhattan, the Bank of New York and Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking."

That's three banks, not 4. Chase (1), New York (2), Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking [HSBC] (3).

The narration makes no mistake in reading the words, however the pauses (or breaks) in speach imply that Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking are two separate banks.

It's, again, not a huge issue. It just kind of jarred in my head when I watched and heard it which meant I had to rewind the next 30s as I was too busy pondering if that was a mistake.

Maybe my understanding of the narration is just incorrect. Either way, I provide that for review if you are looking at refining for any new editions.

--------------

And to end on a good note: The History Channel aired Loose Change 2nd Edition last night following some other official story following documentaries in Australia on FOXTEL (pay-TV provider in Australia). Probably mentioned elsewhere.

Or the fact that there were 44 people on Flight 93, not 45. Or the fact that they referred to the wrong engine when comparing Pentagon wreckage pieces to actual engines.
