Title: Pentagon Eyewithness A Hoax ?
Description: Steve Riskus strange behavior...

Sayan - September 30, 2006 03:57 AM (GMT)
Some of view probably heard of Steve Riskus.

The guy is an important eyewitness at the Pentagon crash site. He was really close according to him and supposedly DID see the plane hit the building. And how clever ; takes few shots in minutes following.

The guy have his webpage to show those pics :

Steve Riskus webpage

A nice name , appropriate for the incident. Don't you think ? Yep , but there's just a little problem... the guy registred that website on the day BEFORE ! ( 09/10/2001 )

See by yourself on whois.net :

whois.net

Strange or not ?

THE DECIDER - September 30, 2006 04:07 AM (GMT)
wow that is weird...how did you discover this?

Lyte Trip - September 30, 2006 06:16 AM (GMT)
What a joke!

Steve Riskus is obviously a plant.

The website creation date is a dead give away but besides THAT.......I'm sorry but I live in California and no true skater would have a website with a front page as cheezy as this!

http://criticalthrash.com/

And he has never bothered updating it in years.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.

George Hayduke - September 30, 2006 04:46 PM (GMT)
Most if not all of the eyewitnesses are suspicious. Take Gary Bauer for example. Claims he saw F77 crash into the Pentagon. Meanwhile he is also a signatory for PNAC.

I must disagree. I too was a skater for 5 years, and pages do get as cheesy as that.

Let's see some then.

Obviously the fact that his site is cheesy doesn't prove anything.

But it sure is DAMN suspicious that it was registered on 9/10/2001, the first entry is a few months later in feb 2002 and the last in 2003 and that he never bothered to update his dorky as hell front page to something remotely cool.

It's almost as if the site was updated for exactly long enough after 9/11 to establish him as a normal skater dude.

I don't buy it.

Great thread guys.

I've been saying this for a while.

He claims he was only a 100 ft away, he was more like 350-400 ft away.

Lyte you nailed it also. That was one of things I had mentioned, how un-skater his site looks. It's like some Fed went and watched the move "Thrashin'" and then created this site.

Absolute crap.

Merc - September 30, 2006 11:23 PM (GMT)
Markbingham.org was also created on 9.11.01 I believe.

The webmaster, his friend, never wrote me back to confirm when he learned of Mark's "demise".

Sayan - October 1, 2006 12:25 AM (GMT)
Actually I don't have any credits for that one... I read it in a french forum. And after that verify on my own.

Some guys on this forum are actually working on an OBJECTIVE 3D simulation to test the official version. Hope to see it soon... Then I would transcript the results here.

I was skater also back in the day.

And sorry, but that design would have flew in the early 90's when I was skating.

Think about why he is so accessible...phone, fax, e-mail, inst. mess.

When this shit is all said and done, I am going to submit a list of names of people to investigate.

Hopefully they will persue and investigate Riskus, Walter, McGraw, Eberle, et al and arrest those who are lying accomplices to murder.

I'm just trying to understand this, so don't laugh. When you say it was registered the day before, you're meaning the website launched on 9/10/01 which causes it to be suspect due to the fact that it launching the day before, seems to have it solely to promote the pictures added the next day ?

Is there any more to the registery and why it is even more suspect than what I can gather, or does that sum it up ? Just trying to see the signifigance of this finding.

Thanks

i think riskus's site is plenty familiar with "skate culture" if you wanna call it that. I skated as a teen, an adult, and even now, i own two boards, but i only ride them to my car when i have to park superfar from my residence.

anyway, if you flip thru the pics of the various skate spots, and read his take on them, they seem par for the course for anyone with an understanding of skating.

maybe the intro page to his site is cheesy, but images cost money, so maybe thats the best one he could come up with for his site for free. Either way the skull is typical for skaters, especially those from the late 80's 90' when Powell & Peralta's "bones brigade" was huge. All their boards sported skull logos, and many of their products had a skull and/or bones theme. Since powel (along with tony hawk) had a heavy influence on the growth of skating, the skull theme would not be unsual.

Im not saying thats the only explanation for a cheesy skull, but it is better than no epxlanation.

SK8 or die dude, we used to say.

anyhow,
i joined their message forums and here is what i found out about riskus's last known whereabouts:

http://criticalthrash.com/messageboard/t.php?id=19781

posted9-20-06:

"moving to chicago: maybe...wife is getting a job there...i hope she makes enough so i dont have to...."

there is a weird mention of him being on the run from the FBI:
http://criticalthrash.com/messageboard/t.php?id=18811

a 9-11 related thread:
http://criticalthrash.com/messageboard/t.php?id=15421

On his website there are tons of pics he claims to have taken of various skate locations all over the USA. The message board (their search engine sucks), reveals more of the same: this guy gets around alot. He is all over the USA getting pics of and skating all sorts of cool spots:

here is one such spot in Kokomo:
http://criticalthrash.com/messageboard/t.php?id=15021

my guess is that he is probably a professional skate photographer as well as a skater. Someone has to be paying for all these trips he is making. My guess, some skate mag or another. Of course these days he could be a freelancer and sell the pics himself, inorder to supplement his income, and provide him the opportunity to afford so much travel.

but then i found this thread where it seems he may work in the I.T. industry (computers):
http://criticalthrash.com/messageboard/t.php?id=15650

i also checked out his work number (the one on the page with the Pentagon pics) on the net, and the most i could figure out about it was that it was in Springfield, VA.

anyway, i will keep looking for clues about him on his message boards to see what else it reveals, but just wanted to say that i am pretty sure the guy is definitely a skater.

ps- join his messageboard, it only takes 2 minutes, and see what you can come up with.

Lyte Trip - October 1, 2006 08:12 AM (GMT)
Yeah sure

He's a pro skater alright.

But it isn't skater mags that sponsor him.

It's our tax dollars!

Do you have any confirmation of that??

**EDIT** If you do, am I the only one who thinks that the creation of that site is ONE DAY after 9/11, amidst all the anguish that folowed that day, is a little on the strange side??

I have just pasted it from whois output. I think we can trust this source :)
I agree - it's strange...

Paranoia,

He is not a pro skate photographer.

I went to his site a while ago and went everywhere you did.

The only two conclusions I have is:

-He is a skate photographer who saw the flyover plane, who deduced it was AA because of later news reports and deduced that it hit the building. He literally took photos of what he thought happened.

-He is a deep cover operative. Established an identity of a skate photographer. Established a "history". Was there or not there, but takes credit for photos and it is placed on his phony site which WAS created on 9/10/01. All entries, all entries about him and his wife are false, to reinforce that he is a real person with a real life. He does actually say that he saw the AA and that it was silver AA 757.

EDIT: Or his Wife is real.

Jazzmyn - October 2, 2006 06:05 AM (GMT)
His photos look legitimate enough, and they've been online for years.

I think that anyone who happened to be in the vicinity at the time and who happened to take photographs would be a source worthy of followup, don't you?

I don't see anything in his photos to suggest that they are fake, and I don't see anything that suggests his presence at the scene was suspicous.

His photos and his contact information have been widely available for five years now on the internet.

So why is it that it suddenly seems suspicious to someone here?

You could just call the guy up and talk to him, of course. He hasn't exaclty been hiding for all these years.

Oh I'm sure the photos now are legitimate. But he is another question...
