Character Synopsis: Chaile Vorst
Human Nethermancer
Best attributes: Wilpower and Perception
Worst attributes: Strength and Toughness
Talents: Spellcasting rank 3 Netherweaving rank 3 Nether matrix rank 2

Personality: Pragmatic and survivalist. Live for the moment but plan for the future.
Likes: Fishing, Throal, his own village, horror lore.
Dislikes: Being interrupted when doing something. Being unarmed. Being disrespectful to the dead.
Skills: Fishing, melee combat, climbing, drawing, undead lore, vorst history.

Chaile grew up in the besieged inner keep of the Vorst kaer. His father died when he was seven in one of the vorst peoples frequent raids to obtain food. Two years later his mother also died, from malnutrition. He is a competent warrior and medic and an adept in magic used to confront and detect horrors, especially the undead.

Chaile was nearly eleven when Throalic warriors broke through the kaer and rescued the hundred or so Vorst survivors. The community evacuated the old kaer and set up a village. Chaile still studied magic but everyine in the village needed a trade to feed themselves so he ended up a competent if not brilliant fisherman.

Eight years on Chaile is nineteen. His village is still very insular and does not allow many visitors out of distrust an paranoia. Some of the few visitors that were allowed demonstrated magical powers that the Vorst people lost decades ago. Chaile successfully petitioned the village elders to be allowed to go to throal to study.

Appearance: Average height, straight black hair tied at the forhead and neck. Brown eyes and sallow, slightly yellowed skin. Wears warrior garb which is easy to move in. Usually wears armour and carries a sword (barbed in typical vorstian fashion) at all times.

Ilona - May 6, 2006 01:49 PM (GMT)
John has kindly allowed me to take over his shadowrun timeslot, so we will be playing from 1 to 4 on wednesday afternoons. if you can only turn up for part of this please feel free. we will be using the standard 66 point buy for character generation. you will start in barter town, please have a reason for being there, if you are really stuck we will figure it out on the day. hope o see some ppl there.

Horizon - May 8, 2006 12:48 PM (GMT)
lol!!! Its more likely that Ilona was kind enough to take over my slot because I was too busy! Don't forget SR players, your characters are not dead.... though some of you might wish they were! mwhahahahah!!!!

Ilona, I'll email you my elf archer tomorrow including his background story. My suggestion is that we do group generation discussions on wednesday together. I'll be there at 2.30. So I'll put more details in my background story to flesh it out.

cheerio, John

Hey there sorry for my absence of late I can now stop being self obsessed and game on so what ever day we can do is fine by me now. If gaming during the holidays is a problem I can offer up my house for game sessions also (willetton, right next to southlands shopping centre) since it is pretty close to murdoch.
