Title: Movies that everyone should have seen...
Description: ...that should be shown at Mars camp.
stawberi - June 17, 2007 12:50 PM (GMT)
It's come to my attention that M#1 has not seen The Nightmare Before Christmas. This makes me wonder, how many classic movies (geek, childrens or otherwise) have some or all of our members somehow been missing out on?
So... what parts of pop culture do you think should be show on Mars camp? What movies do you think it absolutely essential that everyone sees? Or that it would just be really awesome to watch together.
I'll get the ball rolling with some suggestions:
The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Fifth Element
Serenity
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Blade Runner
Hogfather
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
The Neverending Story
Labyrinth
Beetlejuice
The Princess Bride
...any other suggestions?

i can supply all 4 Monty Python movies on DVD :D (The Meaning of Life is better than the Holy Grail)
also which version of Willy Wonka? (i say the original) and the original stargate movie (i have directors cut on the computer, can try to put onto a working disc, hopefully the DVD is divx compatible to make things easier)

The original is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The remake is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (teh lamez).

If you are including labyrinth then you should also include
Dark Crystal

Fifth element seriously? I mean it wasnt bad but hardly a classic must see.

I really should watch the monty python movies, and hogfather.
