Title: BBQ, Games and Beer Friday the 2nd evening

etimodnar - February 24, 2007 03:22 PM (GMT)
So, there's a Mars exec meeting or a not-exec meeting on Friday, and I figure, how bouts I have people over to my place afterwards for a bbq and beer (and games)!!

BYO pretty much everything. Meats, beer, games etc. We can borrow some from Mars for the night... etc. I'll make a salad and buy sausages. Coz I love my sausages. Yum! But anything else you want to bbq, or if you think you'll eat lots of sausages, bring other meats.

This would be awesome if new people come. So all newbies, COME!!!

My place is:
1 Cherruck cl
Maddington

my number is:
0403795194

my email is:
this psuedonym @ hotmail.

So lemme know if you're going to come. Rock up at 6, and then think about leaving at 11:30ish.

Are there any details I've forgotten? I think that's it. Can I bulk email this to some sort of emailing list? I know the ghc one, but that doesn't go out to everyone does it? Or does it!?

w00t! games night. with alcohol. Fun!

It will be good to start having regular get togethers again.

Oooh, forgot about the meeting and have already made plans for a date.

Doesn't rule out the meeting, mind. Just the after-party.

Meanwhile, an after-party for a general meeting? O.o

The concept is awesome!

... bring date?

and does anybody need a lift. I think one of the newbies mentioned that they lived at Student Village. Need lift?

We could probably organise something.

GHC = Grand High Council = the committee, and only the committee (at least, should be)

The MARS mailing list is phantas[at]mars.org.au - and probably should be updated with all the newbie's email addresses :-) It's called phantas because it used to just be for the yearly Phantas 'zine, but years ago it grew to be much more. It is also the list that the other clubs will cross-post to.

Haha... Jarrad at a Mars party. I can just imagine... well, I'll consider... *considers evil*

Wooo party! I"m at the village, and lift offer is very much appreciated as I am limited to public transport. yes, i'm a poor n00b from the country here. I have yet to get as far as friday in thinking yet, so i'll get back to you.

but not much tops party/meeting with games and free food.

Wish I could but unless I could get a lift there and back it aint going to happen. I live in Kensington, bah! (thats South Perth for all you people who dont know what I am talking about and really should because you live in Perth and are to lazy to know where all the suburbs are and I should have put some puncutuation in this somewhere but its funnier to do this....)

I have to work on the weekends too. *cries*

Man my life sux.

Kimmy - February 27, 2007 12:27 PM (GMT)
I'll be bugging you at the meeting so I may as well attend the afters party. Though I also only currently win a car thats about 2 inchs long.

Sammy! Bring your toyboy so I can help torment him!

& I actually made a forum account finally! Wah!

etimodnar - February 27, 2007 02:53 PM (GMT)
Kensington is right near Curtin. Why, I know someone from Mars who lives right near Curtin and might be coming to my games night and could probably bug her parents into giving you a lift because she owes me a lift from that time I went out of my way to drive her home... *cough*Charisma*cough*

Not that I'm expecting to be owed a lift, because they did kinda drive her all the way down to my place at the start of the evening. And she mightn't even be coming, just throwing the suggestion out there.

:D lol

Um, yeah. *sagely strokes her long and sage-like beard* *goes to shave her beard off*

stawberi - February 28, 2007 06:00 AM (GMT)
Sorry Kimmy, have already booked a restaurant for dinner with the toyboy. But but you can torment him when my parents go to Bali. We'll have a big dvd day ^_^

Charisma - February 28, 2007 10:31 AM (GMT)
Nah I can't come. Even if I can't get a lift down to the camp for that night, I'll be going to Ngapartji Ngapartji with my parents - they bought my ticket already and everything.

Sorry.

But I do know Kensington - my friend used to live there. Until she moved to Queensland. Silly Emma.

33 and 35 go through Kensington. On the other hand maybe Kat could do pickups from the train station. *dobs you in return*

:ph43r:

Sorry I can't make it. But I will be at the GM.

Lady D - March 2, 2007 10:09 AM (GMT)
My ability to attend anything is dependant upon time, buses and scabbing a lift of people.
