I'm bored and I don't have the mental capacity to roleplay. i don't know if this would be considered worthwhile, but I need something to kick-start my brain.

Well, for me, I was on Eden Prime. It was my fifth character, and I thought I knew my way around pretty well. I chucked a grenade at a couple Geth that were behind cover. My aim was a little off and I went "Crap" as it stuck to the cover that the geth were behind.

Then my brain reset. It does that sometimes. I completely space out for a few seconds, then come back to reality having forgotten the events of a few minutes ago temporarily. It usually doesn't happen during something important, but now, it did. In the middle of a fight... I got my bearings soon enough but I hadn't quite grasped that the grenade was still blinking innocently on the wall.

The Geth moved and I ran to the other side of the cover that they were on, and I started to hear a beeping noise. I wondered what it was, so I looked down and had just enough time to shriek in shock before it went kablooey beneath my character's feet, owning her level 3 Adept butt.


Lamest. Death. Ever.

Haha, thats great. I blow myself with grenades a lot too. But they never kill me.

I know, right? She'd already been softened up by the Geth, so the grenade finished her off. It was pitiful.

getting hit in the face with a rocket when i turned around when i was fighting geth on noveria

I was shooting geth hoppers and then i truned around and was like :o and then i was hit with the geth destroyers rocket.

Noveria, Male soldier, just earned power-gamer, killed all the commandos, about to deal with Benezia in an awesome-explodey-sniper ammo way, and 1 single geth sniper, 1 JUST 1! Pops out of cover, and assassinates me. God damn robot, your mother was a toaster!!!!!!

Driving along the Prothean Highway. I jumped, landed on a wrecked vehicle, jumped again and 360'd off the edge...

@Stygium: Just one? Gawd, and lone geth are supposed to be stupid.

@Krogan: xD. Hoppers take up so much of my concentration, I've gotten beaned like that once or twice. Don't even have a sec to look at the radar.

@XP: I can't count how many times I've come within a hair's breadth of screaming death on there. Once I purposefully drove off the edge to see if I could land on the other skyway so tantalizingly close. I phail'd. XD

I did something like that.

I was aiming at a group of armatures, when I suddenly drove off the edge. The worst part was the fact that I hadn't saved in two hours.

(I once drove into the lava on the world were you save Liara, but that dosnt count, it was on purpose.)

Ok, most embarresing death/s for me are: 1.Liara's dig site, beaten the Krogan Battle master and almost all the Geth, I get out in the open and shor by a sniper.

2.Novaria, I used throw on a box, hoping to squish a commando, it was then I learned that they had biotics when the commando threw it back at me, killing me

Once I drove on top of the dragon's teeth and all of the Mako's life was absorbed. Most of my stupid deaths involve the Mako....

*Eye Twitch* Drop agrenade for an asari commando, who charges me. I blow it, and take the Asari, Garrus, Kaiden and myself for a deathtrip with some explosive barrels.

Same for me. Once, I was on an uncharted world--!!ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO DIE FROM HAZARDS TO NAVIGATION THERE!!-- and indulged in my habit of using the jets as I ran off the top of the cliff. It's fun. Well, not to high-strung Garrus and Kaidan, who were with me at the time.

Unfortunately, it was to get away from a Geth outpost as I had only a sliver of health left. I hit the ground and exploded. xD

Oh god, Ive been there, I had taken my Infiltraitor (who had throw), Garrus and Tali on a mission with Rachni (one of my... not so smart moments.) and from the starting point I go to the right. I then jump jet off a set of mountins and... actually, Ill let this dialouge I made up explain it.

Garrus: Commander I dont think this is a good idea.
Shepard:Oh come on, whats the worst that could happen?
Tali:Well actually...
Shepard:Too late! (activates jump jets) Wheeee
Garrus:(looks out of the window, sees where they're about to land) oh fu-
The Mako lands RIGHT ON TOP of the thresher maw... it was funny though, I got the maw killed too.

I dunno Leo, thats a pretty freakin' cool way to die!

Imagine the funeral,
'Aw, he looks just like he made the jump'
or the thresher maws...
Horatio-Thresher maw: Well, what have we got Mr. Maw?
Maw: Looks like someone slammed his skull flat! With a tank!
Horatio-Thresher maw: *throws on sunglasses* well, it looks like the humans made a leap... of murder.

Not exactly a death but it might have well have been.

The wall between the lockers and the medbay on the normandy has screwy collision detection. I got stuck in it and i hadn't saved for a while.

A while being about an hour and a half.

Whoops. I did that once. I was like "WTF!" But thankfully I save every five minutes. Almost literally. o_o

I have one. On my offline account (I just got Xbox live so my 58 solider is basically rotting right now) I was doing Feros for the first time. I think thats the name of it, the one with the mind controlling bug. Anyway, I didn't take the Mako the first time thinking I wouldn't needed.

Made my way almost all the way across (using a combo of sniping and hiding to regen health) and was hiding behind cover. Well I peaked out to see one of the Geth Armatures and to get my aim right so I could just pop and shoot, my sniper rifle over heats after every shot. Well, little did I know the damn robot had fired its plasma energy ball thinger and WHAM. Face full of it.

If I had waited about 2 more seconds I would have missed it, I moved out just as soon as it reached my area and gave me no time to react. So yea . . . I think I shut the game off at that point in shame for not seeing the blasted thing.

i never die. and i'm on insane with a level 1 character.

Enterprise... that is the ultimate death during ME... and I pity you for it *hug*

As for me: it was firing through the scope of a sniper rifle as a Krogan Battlemaster came up behind me and beat me to death. I don't even know how he got behind me; he must have spawned or something. What made it bad though was the fact that I had Wrex and Ashley, both with shotguns, working right next to me and shooting the damnable krogan, yet the bastard didn't die!

Some help my teammates were...

Therium, the bit where you face off with the Armeture.

My squad and I were hiding behind boxes, cowering for their lives (this was like, my first mission other than Eden Prime, yesees.)

Anyway, I decided to pop out from cover to shoot at it, did so, and met a blue glowing ball of killiness going the other direction.

Damn.

Whats more, I hadn't saved since the start of the level...

I had just started my way to Peak 15, and I didn't realize the map curved and I flew off the cliff and died a horrible fiery, snowy-ish death! Luckily it auto saves just as you leave the hanger...

It is stupid to die in ME regardless... =/
