Been looking around for some ambient-ish music and also some sci-fi or ethereal sounding music (you'll find out what I mean). Anime has some good tracks. Don't have to mention the ME or Halo soundtracks, I'm in the process of buying them.
Here's some examples of the music I'm kinda looking for.
Mass Effect Remix - by JiveDJ. He's a resident of the Bioware ME boards and did this remix for free! Not sure if the download still works. I've got a copy of it.
Inner Universe - by Yoko Kanno. It's the opening theme for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.
Mezame - by Kajiura Yuki (I think :huh: ). Can't remember where it's from other than an anime series.
Also, the music by
Santo Espejo, otherwise known as Ackhore on the BioBoards. Really nice pieces, very evocative.
So, can anyone help me out? ^_^
