Biography: Sedo was born on one Earth’s first colony worlds, Demeter to the name Markus Fall. Both of his parents had been fugitives fleeing the government after making enemies with several high ranking politicians on the Human home planet. They were both outspoken political activist; to the point they could be considered fringe members and were frequently called Communists. They lived a not so quiet life, moving constantly and even returning to Earth several times to flee and escape from bounty hunters and agents of officials they always had a knack for pissing off. This had an effect on the young Marus, who early on in life swore he would never give a damn about politics. He hated traveling mostly because it did not allow him to forge any lasting relationships with anyone.
Finally on his eighteenth birthday, Markus had the opportunity to flee the political activism of his parents and he did not hesitate to do so. He quietly signed up for the System’s alliances army as a career office under a false identity. The then Marus took on the name Sedo Larsen and severed all ties with his family. He excelled in his classes only because he had no other concerns but, school. Although this didn’t last. Sedo had been a quiet reclusive child on arrival because he had very few friends over the past eighteen years of his life and never developed or learned how to make friends. Once that shyness disappeared he made an assortment of friends and extremely fast. Sedo became known as a loyal kid who could make someone laugh even as they are being told they are about to die. This new experienced divided his concentration and he fell behind in his classes, finishing in the bottom half of his class where he once had the potential to finish the top ten.
With no regrets, Sedo moved on to his career in the army serving as a private. Sedo began to cherish the military lifestyle, serving peace time duty on Earth. He then got new orders to be deployed to Midnoir but, that changed after the pirates raided and slaughtered the populace Immediately Sedo’s peaceful career was thrown upside down. He had been promoted to Lieutenant and was deployed to Elysium when the Blitz occurred. It is rumored that he fought along side Shepard though many people dispel the rumor. Sedo had since called that day the worst in his life and wishes to never revisit the day he lost so many friends. He was reassigned to a new division that was going to participate in retaliation. It took two years but, Sedo got his vengeance when the Alliance responded in full.
The now twenty eight year old officer was promoted to Major but, under the stipulation that he would not have to serve on the frontlines. This was because Sedo had become disgusted with what combat had done to him, turning him into a beast that hungered only for revenge after the Blitz. His superiors agreed and sent him to the Citadel where he would advise the Ambassador in military matters should they arise. The only problem was Sedo was repulsed by the current Human Ambassador. The two never got along and were often clashing. This came to a climax during the Reaper crisis when Sedo constantly pressed the ambassador to side with Shepard saying that such a threat had to be at the very least investigated. Sedo had even used contacts he had developed over the years to try and get a audience with the Council and he did but, was dismissed within minutes with the council warning Sedo not to bring such ‘Baseless warnings’ to them again. This was right after a confrontational meeting with Shepard before he had been made a Spectre.
Eventually though Sedo’s urging for investigation proved right all along but, was given no credit by the Ambassador. Instead he tried to grab all of it from Sedo and even Shepard at some parts once more reminding Sedo why he hated politicians so. The military man took part in the defense of the citadel; trying to defend the docking bays with his fellow soldiers so that civilians could flee. He was personally wounded in the defense, although he managed to recover from them; many others did not and an incalculable amount died defending the Citadel just as he had.
It was this point Sedo retired from the military to recuperate at thirty three. He stayed on the Citadel and participated in the rebuilding processes making many, many allies and companions over this time. Eventually the alliance tried to convince him to be an ambassador to the Council after several others resigned over time; Sedo refused each time. Instead he would continue doing various things on the Citadel including advising Human and alien ambassadors/aides, acting as a body guard and tried his hand at opening a bad which failed. In 2197, the current ambassador resigned and the Alliance came knocking once more. Finally Sedo relented and became the Alliance ambassador at forty six. He represented Earth’s interest in the rest of conflicts that raged soon after and was a clear and unchallenged choice for Human Councilor when given the opportunity.
