Bio:
Born in the unstable Traverse, his parents were Alliance Military. His mother commanded the SSV Everest, and his father was a N7 Special Operations Soldier aboard the ship. When his Mother and Father went on missions or patrols, he would come along, usually being watched by crewmen.

He loved the ship, the Alliance, and his parents. In his early years he dreamed of being a Systems Alliance Captain, but that would eventually fade. The ship was in very few engagments while he was on it, and he often didnt realize what had happened till after, not surprising being 6.

At 10 his father was reassigned to the Citadel, operating Special Response Teams from the comfort of the station. He brung Matt along with him, trying to keep him out of the line of fire. This is where he fell in love with the Citadel.

From that point on he loved the intergalactic forces working on the Citadel. He knew he wanted to do something here, the center of everything for almost every race of the galaxy.

He didnt find politics until he was about 15, taking a practical law class to fill in his schedual at school. He was attracted to the long lists of rules, the challenge, and all the loopholes of the judical system.

At age 18 he joined the Alliance, becoming an officer and climbing through the ranks. Within the year he landed a job in the Alliance Parliment, and was the youngest ever selected to join it.

For the next 7 years he put forth many bills, motions, and denied many acts, helping create laws that benefit the people the Alliance protected. He joined the Military Commitiee, being put in charge of legislation involving the Navy or Marine Cops.

When the Reaper Soverign attacked the Citadel, he was in shock. His father had died in the attack, and it crushed him. For the next year he moped around his home on Earth and did nothing.

After he recovered, he went to the Citadel, seeking to help rebuild the political system. He believed strongly in the reaper threat, and vowed he would help made descisons to strenghten unity among the races.

He returned to Parliament after what they called an extended leave. He was not penalized, due to the fact other high ranking members also left. He was assigned to the Rebuilding Commitiee, a sub-commitiee of the Military Commitiee.

For about 5 years he worked with the Military Commitiee, but he was soon transfered to the Foriegn Relations Commitiee. Here he helped create legislation that influenced how the Alliance dealt with the other races.

After 7 years on the new commitiee, he was elected as head of it. He enjoyed his job, doing something that helped the people. As head of the commitiee he opened up relations with the Quarian Flotilla, something never before attempted.

He was nominated for President Pro Tempore of the Parliament the next year, gladly accepted by him. With 90% of the vote, he became the leader of the Alliances Parliament.

For the next two years he did his duty, becoming one of the most popular Pro Tem's in the Parliaments history. When Humanity gained a seat on the Council, he was one of the first nominated for the position.
