Ok, think of Nihlus, now, give him Garrus' Sniper-monocle, and a marking that looks like an avian foot on his face. Gotta love it.
Biography: Drafted into the turian military, Gerrous quickly rose to fire team leader. A proven leader of men, Gerrous was promoted to squad leader, then squad commandant. After that, he left the military, joining C-sec, seeing it as an honorable change. During a particularly heavy bust, Gerrous was but in charge of an information obtaining mission. Almost 2 days into the investigation, Gerrous had brought in, interrogated and obtained information from 3 operatives, enough to expose a crimelord, Hemorrhage, on 42 counts of assisted murder, 12 conspiracies to commit, and 6 armed robberies. The bust was not as clean as hoped, and eventually, Gerrous as the only unwounded member of a 12 man team. Single, and armed with only a knife, two pistols and a shotgun, Gerrous took out all 7 thugs Hemorrhage had surrounded himself with. 3 days after that, the Espada noticed him, setting him up under Executor Pein. Now, Gerrous is the organizations interrogator, presiding personally over most intelligence interviews. He is also a crack-shot with a pistol, master of an assault rifle, an excellent sniper, and an excellent shotgun rider

Gerrous is often disrespectful, which stems from the death of his clan. While in the military, Gerrous' entire clan was decimated by a plague and combat. As far as he knows, he is the last. He has, therefore, never really had anyone to respect. His embittered outlook often shows itself in his unthinking insubordination, but when called on it, he snaps into shape. For a while, anyway. The only person he TRULY respects is the Espada first seat, Executor Pein.

Sanctifarian's Sword:
Gerrous' sword is completely unremarkable, a standard, hand crafted Ninjato. The scabbard, however, is unique.
The scabbard is a disguised shock stick, specially designed to incapacitate, cause pain to, and paralyze the extremity that is struck. In combat, Gerrous generally uses the scabbard in his off hand, with the sword as a block or, in killing combat, deathblow.

So basically the scabbard paralyzes the body part but doesn't dull any of the pain receptors right?

Essentially. If you've ever read the star wars book about Darth Bane's history, imagine the training sabers and their pelko-bug spines.

That wasn't exactly what it reminded me of. It made me think more along the lines of the Zanpakto belonging to that one captaon off of bleach.

I've never seen bleach... Heard about it, but no interest. It was meant to be modeled after the training sabers though, so hmm.
