Hello all, I just wanted to get myself out there and say "Hi". If you haven't already guessed my name is Sam. You could say I am an avid fan of Mass Effect. (Even though I have only played through 3 times.) I am an even bigger fan of RP.........kinda-ish. I actually had a couple of questions for anyone to answer.
1. I read the rules and said that you should refrain as much as possible from curse words, but does that mean none at all?
2. Is there anyone who can make me a signature, avatar ect.?

First of which swearing should be limited as much as possible but it is allowed occasionally in jokes or when a bad mood is involved. Second An avatar is just a small pic. You can use anything you want. And the signature, basically just the text at the bottom. You choose what goes in there and find something from a site like Photobucket or deviant art to put in there.

I'm Tsunami your friendly neighborhoud sub-mod. Meaning you can turn to me for advice if you don't understand what the mods or admins are telling you. (Rare as that is) and look to people like me for advice with any characters you make.

First off, welcome from the only fem-mod on here ^_^

Second off: you can swear both IC and OOC, but we ask you to not be TOO explicit (no dropping an uncensored F-bomb... use F*** for example if you NEED to use it, but even then refrain from it for the most part). Also don't make every other word a swear: be reasonable, because it's difficult to tolerate otherwise.

Third off: try again (I suck at photoshopping :P)

That is something I have always been curious about also. How do you make moving avatars? :blink:

Seriously though, it's a specialized GIF image that cycles through a series of images to give it the appearance of movement. There are specialized creation programs that allow you to do that, but you have to get the motion and timing down perfectly for it to be good ^_^

Okay..... now how do I shrink my sig? lol

There's a couple of ways to do it:
-Change it in photoshop and host it on an online image host like photobucket.
-Use paint's reduce image function. and post on photobucket.
-Check if photobucket has alternate sizes.

I was going to make a sort of Turian mercenary/freelancer. Although I read through the story and am still confused on who is fighting who lol. :blink:

Well for Turians I can offer you a spot among a clan made by me, Rasen, Venom and Athena.

Not many people here do the loner thing. Besides our clan has the TSV Segonashi, the largest and most danerous Dreadnought ever known.

My main Turian character is a Spectre, Merc, and sword clan kinda guy. So if you stay with us I'm pretty sure you can build up a badass char.

Alright sure, I would like to join. Are the rankings the same as the Alliance?

Not exactly. For service to the systems alliance yes. Service to the clan you'd just be a normal member. Clan rankings are sperate from everything else.

Once you finish your character I'll go through it and give you any pointers I can.
