The two mining companies had established their own turf on each side of the planet. Each group accidentally began mining in the other group's area. The disputes started from there and they eventually escalated to fights. One group has hired a mercenary group to eliminate the opposition during the negotiations. The Espadas are here to stop the mercenaries.

Vergil looked out the window at the large planet their ship was heading for. He had been sleeping most of the way there, and was wondering why Pein choose him for this mission, and why a C-Sec agent was coming with them.

Vergil looked over at Pein who was sitting across from him "So did the C-Sec agent show up?" said Vergil

"He has been on the ship the whole way, but he said he didn't feel well so he stayed in the back. I'm sure you are wondering why he is here. I am the Executor of C-Sec. If I go anywhere I usually bring a C-Sec agent with me. He happened to come to my office before I left. Listen once we land we are going to head to the neutral zone so we can help the negotiations continue. We have to make sure nothing happens." Pein said.

The ship made it to the planet and prepared to land.

"But don't you think he might find it odd that we're using swords?" asked Vergil "and another thing Pein if you don't mind me asking, how are we going to keep our cover if things get a little unorganized?"

Vergil looked out the window too see that the ship had docked, he picked up his sword and got up "I don't know about this Pein, things seem off about this, but you've always did something that hasen't question us" said Vergil.

"It is best not to worry Vergil. I am no fool. Plus nothing bad should happen on this mission. It is a simple mission." Pein said.

Pein gathered his things and left the ship. He was greeted by a large crowd of people. The local police force cleared the way for him as he walked through.

Ulrich finihed his "illness" and checked his gear one more time before going to the executor. He made sure his weapons were ready to fire just incase and he then pushed past the crowd to fall in behind the executor. Apparently these other people liked swords but it was not his concern.

Vergil didn't like to be over crowded, but he kept his calm, and emotionless posture as he pushed people outta his way.

"good evening" said a tall dark stranger standing by a long black car "If you would please get in the car we can take you to the CEO, he's waiting for you"

The stranger open the door and the three men got in. Vergil watched as the dark stranger got in the passenger side and watched as the car started to drive off. "Where do you think their taking us?" asked Vergil as he looked out the window.

Agent Ravenstrein entered the vehicle with the others be careful to assess the situation. He did not like this particular situation. Entering a vehicle supposedly taking them to their appointed spot.
"I think this is a tactical mistake. We have given potentially hostile forces knowledge of our location and control of our movement. We have no idea if they are even taking us to the correct place."
Ravenstein then leaned back in his seat keeping his hand near his pistol , just in case.

Pein noticed that Ulrich was on edge.

"Don't worry. We are not the targets here. Our job is to protect the targets. That is where we are being taken. The danger will only begin when we get to the negotiations." Pein said.

Pein relaxed in his seat. He used his biotic power lift to pull a glass of wine closer to him. He grabbed it and drank from it.

Ulrich nodded."Understoodsir, I was just giving my professional opinion on the situation."
He still would not relax. he probably would not relax again until he was back in the relative safety of his apartment on the citadel. Negotiation missions could go really bad. Hopefully it would just be the politicians talking and coming to a compromise.
"I would still like survey the area before we fully commit to a ground of their choosing executor, with your permission of course"

"Very good, Ulrich. Regardless of how safe I say it is you should still be cautious. I will allow you to survey the area. Don't get yourself in trouble." Pein told Ulrich.

The limousine finally arrived at a very luxurious building. A salarian opened the door of the limo and showed Pein and his party the way to the negotiations room.

The negotiations would be taking place in three parts. Each part would last a day. The two sides talk about different issues.

"I will be very cautious Executor." Ulrich replied. He stepped out of the limosine and began processing the area. He looked at the surrounding buildings and made note of which ones would serve as good sniper positions. He further surveyed any obvious choke points in the building. If there were any armed guards he made note of their equipment and their species and gauging percentages in his mind of the possible outcome if a fire fight ensued. Of all the enhancements the Alliance had done to him his mental clarity was one he used the most.
Salarians were just fast, in thought and motion they were also impatient. The Krogan were strong and hardy born to be warriors there were rumors some had potent biotic abilities. Hopefully none of those types of krogan were here. Asaris were just dangerous and highly skilled. Turians he liked. They were soldiers, every Turian had military training due to the Hierarchies(SP?) law.
Ulrich then began to come up with alternate evacuation plans should the need arise. He would input them inot his omnitool when he had a moment to himself.

Pein walked into the room. The moment he walked in he could feel the tension. Both sides kept themselves sepearte and everyone seemed to be on edge.

Pein walked towards the podium.

"My name is Pein Mikuno. I am the Executor of C-Sec and am only here to make sure nothing bad happens. I hope these negotiations can be solved peacefully." Pein said to everyone in the room.

He stepped down and took his seat.

Both men were worried. The mercenaries they hired didn't seem to be very professional. The two men had very little money and could only afford to hire lowly mercenaries. They were lucky though. A man had walked up to them and asked about the executor coming here. The man volunteered to assist in the attack for no fee. This man seemed to be strong and they felt an aura of power coming from him.

Ulrich recognized the relative threat level of these mercenaries.As a precaution he marked it from low to moderately high. They were outnumbered, and even a lucky shot by one of these second rate mercenaries could be disasterous. He made sure to stick close to the executor should a fire fight ensue his first priority would be to get him out per C-Sec regulations dealing with negotiations and in the event of crises. The tension in the room was almost visable it would not take much to turn this meeting into an all out battle. The executives looked worried and the division was noticable as the two companies dominated one side of the room each. He decided to send the executor a subtle e-mail regarding the initial threat assessment he made.
E-Mail
"Executor, threat level is low to moderately high. These companies seemed to have gone to the bargain basement mercenary units, however some could be former soldiers down on their luck. I have an evacuation plan incase this meeting goes south. Plus several contingencies ready. Requesting, if needed, authorization to act under C-Sec Special Response regulation regarding the safety and security of high level administrators."

Pein responded to the message, "We can not make the first move. Sadly we must allow them to attack."

Pein acted normally, but in reality he was ready for a fight to break out.

Still acting naturally he received the message and waited a few seconds before replying with a simple nod to the executor letting him know he understood.

Vergil could feel things were getting alittle on the egde, he slowely took hold of his sword, and glared across the room, he then glanced over at Pein.

"I'll take the big one" whisperd Vergil under his breath, he knew someone's blood was gonna endup on his blade.

Three men suddenly pulled out shotguns. They opened fire at the representative of one of the groups. The shots were deflected by some barrier. Pein leapt out of his seat and kept the barrier up. He used lift to lift up the three men.

Another two guys started shooting at the executor.

Vergil saw as the men pulled out guns and began to shoot, he quickly pulled out his blade and charged at the two men who were firing at Pein, he charged at one of the men and sunk his blade into his back, he then grabbed the arm that was holding the gun and shot the other man in the head.

Vergil saw as another Merc began to fire on him, he then ran up a wall and jumped down cutting the man across the chest. Vergil slicked his hair back and turned to see a table come flying at him. He quickly ducked and watched as the table flew over him.

Vergil turned back around and saw what looked to be a large Russian man standing in front of him. The Russian picked Vergil up by his coat and held him close to his face.

"I'm gonna hurt you, little man" said the Russian

Pein threw the guys he was lifting to the side. He took one of the fallen guns and blasted the three men on the floor.

The local police ran into the room making sure the civilians were okay. The remaining mercenaries tried to escape.

Pein noticed a man in a black coat at one end of the room. He started to walk towards him.

The breath of the Russian smelled bad, that was untill Vergil gave him a backflip heel to the face. Vergil saw as the Russian began to regane himself, Vergil quickly ran at the Russian, and began to Bicycle kick him in the chest, and gave him a powerful kick which sent the Russian flying out a window.

Vergil walked over and picked up his sword and sheath it, he saw as more law - enforcement came running into the Building. Vergil walked up to Pein who was standing infront of a man wearing a long black coat.

ulrich saw the shotgns come out and his reflexes took over, his pistol was drawn very very fast and he squeezed off two rounds to make the shotgun wielders stop their advance as the sword wielder moved in to chop them down. He was about to fire on the one charging for the executor but the execitor had fixed the issue. Now there was the man in black."Give the order sir and we can finish this and go home"

Pein watched as the man in black walked closer to them. The man seemed to be completely unfazed by what was going on. Pein felt like he recognized him.

"I suggest not walking another step." Pein told the man.

The man in black stopped walking.

"You do not recognize me. Well that is sad. I would give you my name, but I prefer to give you my alias, the Espada serial killer or One Winged Angel. Whichever you prefer to call me, it matters not." the man said.

Ulrich was taking careful aim..this could get ugly really fast he awaited orders from the executor his logic overriding his trained instinct to fire and to keep shooting until there was nothing left, the man had yet to draw a weapon but apparently he was with some serial killers orginization called the espada. Not something he had heard of but he was not willing to let a serial killer walk away his finger was ready to squeeze the trigger all the guy had to do was make a move.

"The One Winged Angel"

That name striked fear in Vergil, he had heard stories about that name and how many were killed by the person bareing the name.

"What are you doing here, and what do you want?" asked Vergil

The man just continued to stare at the group. His eyes were dark and he had a grin on his face.

"I see, so you are the one who killed those agents." Pein said.

Pein's biotic powers began crackling in the air. Pein was prepared to kill the man in front of him.

The man smiled and in a flash ended up behind the group. He walked up to the representative from the rival company and he finished his mission by killing the man. The man turned around and drew his sword. His sword was enormous and could almost reach Pein.

"Come first espada!" the man shouted.

(Man in black's theme)

"I suggest you stand down. Disarm yourself and surrender peacefully, there is no need for further violations of galactic law."
He hated saying that but C-Sec rules were strict and had little leeway for extenuating circumstances. Something about this man was off though..when people were not afraid of death it usually means they are crazy or they believe they are going to walk away..Ulrich did not like the situation. He was pretty sure the man was not crazy..just eccentric.

Ulrich blinked..that was a huge f****** sword...he had to wait he knew if he fired to soon he would get them all killed if he did not fire soon enough it would get them all killed..regulations and training were going through his mind as he prepared for battle.

Vergil eye's got wide as he heard the One Winged Angel behind him. Vergil quickly drew his blade and held his blade infront of him.

"do not wast your time, C-Sec" said Vergil calmly "this one has no soul to care" Vergil gave the so called Angel an emotionless stare as he held his blade towards his neck waiting for a chance to strike.

The man in black swung his sword at Pein. Pein narrowly dodged it. He countered with his biotic power lift. The man seemed to be unaffected. The man slashed again destroying a group of tables in the process. Pein saw that the room was clear except for his group and the man.

The man decided to kill the other two quickly. He charaged them and slashed. The strength of his swing was immense.

Ulrich saw his chance and he moved..fast..I mean really fast, as he went into the flow of battle. He fired of several shops in rapid succession at the so called One Winged Angel. As he fired he dodged the blade narrowly but still dodged it.

Vergil saw as the man charged at the C-Sec agent. Vergil quickly got in the way of the attack, the blow almost sent him to his knees. Vergil held his blade with all of his might while keeping the same emotionless face.

"Before this is over Angel" said Vergil as he leaned his face closer "Your blood will be on my blade"

The man pushed down his sword resulting in the floor cracking and splitting. None of Ulrich's attacks fazed him. Pein rushed over to Vergil and used warp on the man. Again the attack had no effect. The man looked at Pein and outstretched his arm towards him.

"Goodbye." the man said softly.

Pein was suddenly blasted backwards and sent flying through the wall of the building. The local police force came back and shot at the man. The man in black threw Vergil aside and proceeded to slaughter the police.

"Executor we have got to go now!" Ulrich shouted as he rolled out of sword reach and continued fire at the sword wielding bad guy. He was half tempted to toss a mine at the guy but was unsure how he would explain the collateral damage.

The man sent Vergil flying through the air with such ease. Vergil hit the floor and used what strengh he had left to get up, he saw as Pein was thrown into a wall. Vergil saw as the man turned his blade at the police, Vergil quickly ran over to Pein to see if he was ok.

"Pein!" shouted Vergil as shook Pein "Executor Pein!"

Pein crawled out of the rubble. He was wounded, but it wasn't bad.

"Son of a *****. I should have known who it was from the start. We have to run. Vergil go get Ulrich and get back to the ship. I will hold him off for now." Pein ordered Vergil.

Pein drew his gunblade and prepared to fight the man.

All of the police officers were beheaded. The One Winged Angel turned to fight Ulrich.

Ulrich saw vergil go flying and land next to the executor. "Get him out of here!" and ulrich kept firing at the one winged whatever he was.. he then used his omnitool to manufacture a small device that localized on a target would supposedly blind them temporarily.

"You two leave now! Leave him to me." Pein shouted.

Pein charged at the man with his sword. Both of their blades clashed and neither seemed to move an inch. Pein used his biotics to enhance his strength. He seemed to be getting the upper hand, but the man threw him into a pillar. Pein then realized what had to be down.

The building was held up by pillars. Pein used his gunblade and destroyed each pillar one at a time. The killer tried to stop him, but Pein used warp and that was able to keep him at bay for the moment.

The entire building was shaking. Pein ran towards the exit and shot behind himself hitting the final pillar. The entire building began to collapse, but before Pein escaped the man stabbed him with his sword through his right shoulder.

Ulrich heard the executors' orders and ran to the exit dodging fallen debris he made a final leap and rolled to safety out side of the building. He turned to see the executor with a sword tip protruding from his shoulder. "Executor!" he sreamed he was about to move towards him and saw that vergil was on top of it ulrich posted up ready to provide fire support should that thing emerge.

Vergil grabbed Ulrich's arm "come on, we have too leave" said Vergil. The two men began to run towards the exit when Vergil turned around and saw Pein running right behind "good" thought Vergil "he's not dead"

Just then Vergil saw as a blade came cutting through Pein's right arm "Pein!" screamed Vergil

Vergil knew he had to do something fast, he ran back, and used his Bio-tec power to lift up a nearby rock a throw it at the attacker, it didn't do much, but it gave him time to save Pein.

The building was loseing under its own wieght. Vergil quickly helped Pein up, and tossed his arm over his shoulder. Vergil and Pein made it out just as the building came down around them.

Pein and the other were able to escape safely. The man in the black coat was supposedly buried alive.

"I think I know who that is. None of our attacks affected him because he was using an extremely powerful biotic barrier. His strength and ability were incredible. It must be Sephiroth." Pein told the others.
