Biography: Victoria was "born" 5 years ago in CyberNov's Research Facility located at Peak 11 on Noveria. She was the end result of a 15-year illegal R&D project to create an artificial lifeform that would be practically indistuingishable from a human being. CyberNov had teams of researchers in the fields of composite design, human anatomy, neurochemistry, power systems, smart materials and psychology brought into Peak 11.

Over the course of pre-construction design, it was decided to take an unconventional approach to creating an intelligence. They would not allow it to self-form, but rather base it off of human thought processes and mind structure.

The first series of prototypes were simply experaments to reach this goal. It was found that in order to replicate the human thought process, the human brain must be imitated structurally as well.

After a succesful expirement in creating an appropriate processor system using simplified and easy-to-work with components, approximatley 3 times the size of a human head.

Brain scans were taken of Dr. Simon Tarses in order to form a template for the first sapient prototype, whom was dubbed "John Doe". John Doe stood in at about 10 feet tall and was constructed mainly of components from cargo lifters. Once given method of communication, it was found that Doe was capable (Almost irritatingly) of heuristic learning by interacting with its environments and surroundings.

The next prototype was approximatley 7 feet tall and contained the newly scaled down and totally redesigned processor brain, consisting of neuron-like nanobots called "neurites". These neurites are constantly switching connections much in the same way neurons do. The newer, smaller prototype was dubbed Jane Doe and performed even more admirably than John Doe, with quicker response times and the ability to hold a conversation with the scientests and their assistants.

At this point, it was decided to begin work on a synthetic human which would be essentially human. The Jane Doe prototype was used as a jumping-off point and its brain case was installed in the new frame. The new frame, dubbed "V4" was different from previous attempts in that it incorporated biotech and organic elements, as opposed to simple metallic mechanisms. A majority vote was taken on the synthetic's appearance and it was decided that it would be an attractive young female, approximatley 20 years of age in appearance.

After completion, V4 was given a name; Victoria Quattro. "She" developed social skills under the supervision of Doctors Tarses and Kavanaugh. Victoria delved into literature, social interaction, and scientific theory.

Unfortunatley, CyberNov did not take necessary precautions to ensure the secrecy of the project, and the facility was raided by a Spectre, who took steps to destroy the entire facility. Victoria was overlooked during the destruction and escaped into the open.

Construction:

Structure: Victoria's skeleton consists of a calcium hydroxylapatite composite reinforced with cabon nanotubes, replicating the shape of the human skeleton in as much detail as possible. Bioactive ceramics are present where necessary for reinforcement.

Locomotion: Smart fiber "muscles" provide locomotion by contracting much in the way human muscles do, a much smoother and more convicincing system than servomotors or hydrogel actuators. She has approximatley twice the strength of the average human being.

Power: Her power systems are various to prevent battery failure. Power can be provided via chemical reaction (consumption of food and drink), through piezoelectrics (whice allow her to recharge while performing actions that place mechincal pressure on her "Skin", such as walking.) If internal power systems fail, she is compatible with inductive-charge paddle systems.

Exterior: Victoria's dermal outer layer precisley replicates the feel and texture of human skin and contains multiple sensors giving her the same approximate sensory abilities of the human body. Her body is fully anatomically correct.

Processing: Her brain is capable of emulating human heuristics and enacting on emotions. Happiness, sadness, anger, disgust, surprise, and fear have been confirmed, though she is perhaps capable of more.

Maintenance: Her skeletal frame and electrodigestive system are maintained by a fleet of nanites, which also are capable of effecting repairs, given the right equipment and a days time (although this was only possible with CyberNov's equipment). Heat sinks located throughout her body shed the excess heat from her systems and also add weight to the illusion that she is human.

Misceallaneous/Abilities: Victoria also posses a built-in omnitool (Basic functions only) in her left arm. Her cranial module has an integrated multi-channel civilian-grade comlink.

Personality Victoria has a very inquisitive personality, almost everything is curious to her, not surprising seeing as she knows very little about the world from her brief education. While her knowledge and intellect are matured, she posses the equivalent of a child's knowledge of social interaction and behaviour.

Wow... this has to be one of the most unique characters on the ENTIRE board. Oddly enough, both of us have synthetic beings. My Neovgre is a the perfect culmination of EVERY sentient race besides the Batarians, while yours is basically the universe's most advanced android.

That aside, I assume she is basically a human version of a Geth, meaning she still needs an omnitool for computer functions, a comlink for communication, etc. Based on that...

By the way, as you are in the wards, feel free to stop by Chora's Den... you'll find a lot of curious things there ^_^

(Dang. I wanna make a synthetic now....)

Just to.....help, Tex, don't bump topics no longer active, especially old ones like this.

Just don't want you to get in trouble by the mod/admins.
