Name: Alexander Fields
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Allegiance: Systems Alliance
Rank: 2nd Lieutenant
Class: Vanguard

Appearance: Alexander stands at 6'1'' and weighs 192 pounds. He looks to be the result of decades of Human breeding as his skin tone and features no longer have a distinct lean towards any Human ethnicity. His complexion is somewhat tan and his face is face is rather smooth and blemish free. Alexander does a noticeable scar on the left side of his forehead though it is covered neatly by black bangs that stop just shy of his piercing light blue eyes. Another feature that stands out is that from his left wrist down is completely mechanical, and strangely enough there have been no attempts to conceal that fact, it is just a metal replacement for his left hand. Alexander can most often be seen in his combat armor, Ariake Technologies Mercenary light combat armor, often equipped with an assault rifle, pistol, and a shotgun. Whenever he does happen to take this suit off he wears the simple blue Systems Alliance uniform, and if it happens to be a ceremonial event Alexander always has his Systems Alliance officer uniform to change into.

Background: Alexander Fields graduated from Shepard High School, a new High School that was built on Eden Prime for none other than the man who saved the Galaxy from the likes of Saren and Sovereign. The only accomplishments he had under his belt was finishing school 8/5,632 and being the Captain, and Quarterback, of the back to back Football State Champions, the Shepard Commanders. Alexander didn't enlist into the military as a first choice, he was going to take his football career back to Earth where he planned to receive a full college scholarship for his abilities. Unfortunately there was a freak accident on his way home from his graduation party, a high speed chase had just come his way and the robbers managed to hit Alexander with their vehicle. He survived the incident, but the cost was too high, he had lost his left hand to the accident, and he was left handed. It was in the hospital that he was approached by a couple of Scientists who told him he was going to become a biotic with some modifications. Fields had no reason to object because for all he knew he no longer had a useful future. The successive surgeries the scientists preformed on Alexander resulted in the noticeable scar on his forehead as they implanted biotic amplifiers throughout his body. Finally they replaced his lost left hand with a mechanical hand that doubled as a biotic focus. With that he would be able to manipulate dark matter fields in about a third of the time it took a normal Human biotic.

After the surgeries Alexander was placed in a biotic program that trained him on how to properly utilize his newfound power. This new ability took some time for Alexander to get used to and he graduated from the training at the age of 20. His next three years would be spent in special officer training for the Systems Alliance, and he proved that a biotic would no doubt fit well as a commander of a squad. Alexander showed great prowess in his ability to command fellow students and ended up graduating with numerous honors. Being a recent graduate he was put in charge of a ground squad on the Salamander and was under the command of the ship's Captain.

Alexander had no real special occurrences during his service on the Salamander until a distress call from Elysium. There seemed to be a Mercenary group that landed on one of the outer most settlements. Fortunately for the settlement the Salamander was even closer to them than Elysium's planetside defenses. Alexander was dropped onto the sight with his team, and Alexander showed his prowess as a commander effectively leading his troops to cornering off and ending the threat. When Alexander realized that the Mercenaries were humans, rather than arrest them he shot them on site claiming them to be a “Blemish on Humanity's face.” After the mission he was chastised for using unnecessary force against the Mercenaries and relieved from his position on the Salamander. Alliance Brass stationed him on Citadel Station until they had further orders for him.
