The year is 2147, and Humanity has never discovered Element Zero. They have however discovered Slipspace recently. Humanity is dived among nation states, but all their militaries are currently binded into the United Nations Space Command.

Currently the UNSC controls 20 extra-solar colonies, as FTL has only been discovered a few years ago. A booming economy in Human Space promotes expansion, and society is fairly peaceful and open currently.

Meanwhile, on the Citadel, Turian and Asari researchers were preaparing to open what is the Sol Relay. After compiling a small fleet of warships, and crew they prepared to make the jump.

The Humans stationed on pluto immediantly opened fire on them. Missiles, MACs, Lasers, and old fashioned lead hit the ships. However, almost all proved ineffective agianst the sheilds and GUARDIAN systems.

The small naval detachment around pluto, and 30% of the military on it were decimated. After a transmission, US and British forces opened fire on the enemy ships with nuclear weapons. After taking out a Cruiser, and 2 frigates, the research team opened up with everything.

After forcing a retreat from Pluto, the Alien fleets retreated back to the citadel, asking the Council for permission to destroy the hostile species, they got it.
