My Plan

The site needs some good leadership, I'd suggest finding some smart RPGers who know a lot about Mass Effect and know how to run a Text Based RPG.

Once you have good leadership, you must then redesign the game from the ground up. You must start by getting rid of all post that aren't important to the game. In a way the entire game would start all over again. After the entire board is cleared, you should make sure that every location known in the Mass Effect game is added to the RPG. Then you must begin to redesign the shop system.

You must add the "Money Hack" and add credits to the game. Each member should be able to buy ships, weapons and armor. Each player should also be able to create their own shop or even create their own colony. The powers of the player should be endless. Each player should be able to build buildings and NPCs. This will allow for the game to grow in the way the players want it too. One player could go off and build a Space Station and their own navy, another could begin making a Clone Army of Krogans who seek to take over the galaxy.

Each faction should have a government. The Systems Alliance should have a government similar to that of the United States or the United Nations. Perhaps a President rules over the Systems Alliance. The Citadel should have the Council and then the other sub-faction should have their own governments. It'd be intresting to see how players run each faction.

Now that players can do almost anything, you must reopen the site. Meanwhile you should try and advertise on every major RPG Site. (RPG Directory and so on) Then you must go from site to site and search for sites that wish to partner with you. They'll bring in many new players not to mention its always good to have allies.

I can promise you in the weeks that follow, this site shall become very active. It shall have over 50 new members every week. It shall be run by smart people and it shall be one of the greatest text based RPG's of all time. The universe of Mass Effect is vass. Don't let it go to waste.

1. We do not have enough time or organization to create a monetary system for members to use.

2. If people want to go to a certian location, they can add it

3. We already have the council and the Systems Alliance is governed by Parliament

A currency could be put into place, it could work well if you have one admin whos main job is to handle finance.
