Description: Fondor was not always known as Fondor. It was one Xaiver, planet of the Corgans. Captain Caldor Titantius had found this system and this planet. He kept it a secret from the council and the alliance. When he arrived on the planet the people lived in small tribes. Most of them fought against each other for global domination. Caldor brought and end to this. Caldor took the tribes and created peace. He then trained them to use modern weapons. He taught them to speak English. He had turned a planet that was in the Stone Age, into a modern day planet with filled with smart peoples. Caldor had made many secret missions to the planet before his death. He had left his son, Fondor with a map of how to get to the planet. Fondor now is the only man who knows how to get to Fondor.

The planet is very similar to Earth. Its filled with large fields and huge oceans. Its an amazing planet, that could be a prime human colony. Its natives, the Caldorians now have an amazing society. The current government is a republic.

A few points I'd like to make.

Firstly, are you making a new species? If so, make the entry for that first then clear it with Rasen. Then you can make the planet.

Second, natural resources tend to refer to geological things like metals, hydrocarbons, minerals, etc, or natural renewables that aren't an agricultural product. So fishing and forestry are natural resources but wheat and rice are not. Farm goods imply some sort of processing and so aren't really natural.

So perhaps change Natural Resources to Major Exports.

Thirdly, you have a population of 6 billion and a standing armed force of 2 billion personnel. That's a 33% militarization which is frankly impossible for a planet whose major export is food. Most military forces have between 1% and 10% militarization, including reserves. The System Alliance is at 3% militarization.

Last;y, the whole idea of a captain having a secret planet kept hidden beyond the eyes of anyone else beggars belief. If he was part of an organisation covering up it up, then yes, I could believe that.

I won't even touch the whole idea of "uplifting" the local population, beyond "impossible for one man". Teaching them English, yes. Teaching them to use weapons, yes. Making them a modern civilisation, no. Just... no.

If you want, I can help you develop this. Just have a list of specific plot points or characteristics that you wish the colony to have and we'll work with that.

I'm still waiting for the race to be approved. I'd love for your help. I wanted the planet to be like a hidden world. That could really change the fate of the galaxy. Thats why Captain Caldor had hid it from the alliance and council. Captain Caldor had given them the technolgy to advance. In the past few years they have managed to build soem pretty sick cities and they have a massive military in case of emrgec

Just giving them tech won't help them and a Navy captain will not be able to teach a bronze-age civilization the underlying scientific principles so that they can develop. Certainly not in a human's lifespan. Then there's the matter of the infrastructure. That is the base on which all societies are based on. Without the minerals, refining and processing equipment, skilled workers, knowledge base and a whole host of other little details, it's just not going to work.

An analogy that I've been told before is like giving Leonardo Da Vinci an F1 car. Sure, he might be able to figure out how it works. But he sure ain't going to be able to build one in his time.

You'll need the backing of some sort of organsation which has been working with them for a long time. They'll be the ones with all the knowledge and trying to teach the Caldorians.

That way, you can get the Caldorians up to scratch with using guns and weapons and vehicles (a RL army uses rote learning to quickly train troops), and also work in factories to produce the equipment. However, they won't be able to design, create and engineer new things since that sort of learning takes a lot longer. Also, complex tasks like space strategy and navigation will have to be in the hands of more advanced species.

Land tactics and strategy, they should be able to grasp and commit to themselves since they've been engaged in tribal wars for so long.

You really need to do something about the size of the army. A volunteer force of 2 billion doesn't work. Have a hundred million as a standing force (this includes ship crews and support personnel) and 900 million as a citizen's militia. The rest of the population have compulsory military training, much like the turians.
