Description: The TSF Courageous Spirit is a turian-built frigate assigned to the Citadel Fleet. It is 57 meters long and carries a crew complement of 24 people. The Courageous Spirit is built to be a light, maneuverable ship, and as such
relies primarily on its substantial kinetic barriers for protection. The ablative armor on the ship has been maximized for protection and weight, ensuring the most optimal integrity without overloading the craft. It was built with both vacuum and atmospheric flight in mind, and as such is capable of maneuvers in both (with a capable helmsman) that other ships would struggle with.

Biography: Built in 2198 as an updated replacement to replace a ship of the same name lost in the attack on the geth homeworld. Unusual even for a Citadel Fleet ship, the Courageous Spirit is crewed by a cross-section of the races inhabiting Citadel space. After its shakedown run, the Spirit was assigned to patrol duty, traveling between the systems of Citadel space, monitoring border systems for activity hostile to the Citadel. In addition, the Spirit has standing orders to monitor and respond to any transmissions requiring aid from colonies inside Citadel space. Occasionally, the Spirit will be assigned a special, temporary mission directly from the Council or the Fleet, thought these are rare.
