Title: New RP
Description: Virtro, Yankee, Alson, Carson, Carchus

Virtro Tugimora - June 28, 2008 12:47 AM (GMT)
We, that is, me and the new guys, need to come up with an RP if we want to keep this place active.

Any ideas?

Yankee6X - June 28, 2008 12:58 AM (GMT)
As a starter i feel its better to start small - get a grip and perspective on each character, how they interact amongst each other before we go nuts-deep and make a big plot.

However, something "big" on the Citadel right now would most likely bring everyone together to a common event. Possibly a holdup, or some sort of crisis? Possibly a mishap landing into the wards where alot of people require assistance? Or something along those lines.

I'm not exactly sure on what is an acceptable event here, being new and all - but i suppose if we work together we can come to form a plot that'll keep everyone happy.

At the moment there are only a few people actually posting - which is kinda depressing - and i think we all just need to post somewhere to kick things off.
As i mentioned in my suggestions thread in general section we need to do some fiddling with the layout (not pictures/images) of the board so that new people find it easier to navigate.

But yes, i agree we need something to involve more than 2 people in a casual bar chit-chat.

Hmm... Maybe Terra Firma could make a comeback? Maybe we can mix this with Yankee's idea of something happening in the Citadel, maybe an unexpected attack?

Virtro Tugimora - June 28, 2008 01:10 AM (GMT)

Right now, we cannot do anything big because, like you said, only a handful of people are posting. We can do a sub-plot with around 3-4 people posting that can later tie into a bigger plot when more people are posting due to our efforts.

Yankee6X - June 28, 2008 01:18 AM (GMT)
well what sort of characters are we throwing around?
I've got an ex-military turian
asion has (more or less) a squad of alliance marines.
what do the rest of ya have?

from that we can make a judgement and build a plot that we can all enjoy.

Virtro Tugimora - June 28, 2008 01:33 AM (GMT)

I have three humans:

Service Chief Virtro S. Tugimora, Alliance Marine Corps, Spec-Ops

2nd Lieutenant Crystal S. Tugimora, Alliance Navy, Naval Intelligence

Staff Lieutenant Jęden C. Starr, Alliance Space Command, Pilot

Virtro & Crystal are siblings, born on Eden prime before the attack, went to Arcturus after the attack.

Jęden is based off of my own life and what I want to do when I get out of college. Virtro was an old DBZ character, as you can see from my sig, but after I "graduated" from DBZ, I used him for other RPs with the same personality, unlike my other DBZ characters.

An idea.
Aslon your ship had been damaged - for arguments sake lets say the repairs aren't going well, and an explosion onboard the ship has dislodged it from its docks, and surged it into the nearby ward. Luckily, the puncture by teh ship was nearly airtight, so only basic respiratory equipment is needed.

Naturally with a ship crashing into the wards - there are loads of casualties, and many wounded. With nearly everyone here with some sort of military background we could all get involved and front a search and rescue and reparations mission sort of impromtu. And see how our characters interact.

Possibly discover it was a terrorist act, or negligence from some workers on the citdael/ship.

Just a thought.

[idea]

Let's do it.

Virtro Tugimora - June 28, 2008 02:53 AM (GMT)

Let's go for it.

Enterprise1701 - June 28, 2008 02:53 AM (GMT)
I could get onboard with this.

Gentlemen, let us;
Saddle up.
Lock n' load.

Yankee6X - June 28, 2008 03:13 AM (GMT)
Alright then.
It seems we have some support for this plot.

I'll write up an introductory post on this, and we'll get the ball rolling!

Michael Carson - June 28, 2008 03:16 AM (GMT)
Im just tossing this but how about some sort of training exercise, its not to intense but it allows everyone to get to know other members characters and work with their own characters some more. This training exercise could lead to a bigger story line after it is finished or it could just be the end of it and other plots could begin. either way it allows everyone to get to know each other and have some fun RPing. Just an idea.

Training excercise wouldn't work, as not all our characters are alligned to the same military.

true I was thinking about that, but unless some of you are playing the bad guys it could be dubbed as a joint exercise or even so we could include those who aren't members of their races armed forces it could be something on the citadel like a seminar on a random topic lol. After the attack on the citadel that was played out on the forums a while ago i think most the the races have increased their ties with each other so something like this wouldn't be unheard of.

True, but again for an excersise of that caliber, we'd need a few people with some relatively high ranks lying about the place - i'm not ruling it out - i'm just saying as a teaser for everyone, i'm going to get started on this ship haywire thing.

Its a good start, and possibly as a result of thls incident these training excercises may be needed.

Michael Carson - June 28, 2008 04:59 AM (GMT)
Im up for anything, i was just spit balling, i need to update my character bio for what has happened since you guys got here since im sure you don't know. just let me know when you start it.

Yankee6X - June 28, 2008 07:42 AM (GMT)
So the plotline Aslon and I have come up with is pretty simple.

There are Terra Firma terrorists who plan on blowing a double-kill to the Citadel and the Systems Alliance.

They have planned, and placed to put a bomb onboard one of the Alliance's vessels - and blow up after landing on the citadel in an attempt to cause greivous damage to the tower.

However, luckily the ship had been damaged prior by an asteroid and had been stationed for repairs.
The ship will blow up, and float loftily to the wards, crashing into it. Then everyone responds.

Requesting permission to utilise 2-3 terra firma characters (possibily on-the-spot names) in order to give this a little depth?

Virtro Tugimora - June 28, 2008 02:18 PM (GMT)

Go ahead. I have one character not involved in anything right now. The other (Virtro and Crystal) are at Mindoir with Carchus Ventrallis, so they are not involved.

Delta Team Curt - June 28, 2008 04:00 PM (GMT)
If you need a Human Counciler and his ship to try and kill, mine is open : P

Delta Team Curt - June 28, 2008 04:45 PM (GMT)
Actually nevermind, my idea would need the entire plot reworked...

Aslon - June 28, 2008 04:46 PM (GMT)
If I am to do the first post in this plot (which I am), then where should I put it? The docking bay thread, or a new one?

Virtro Tugimora - June 28, 2008 04:58 PM (GMT)

Wards or Docking Bay. Your choice. Not the current thread.

Aslon - June 28, 2008 05:03 PM (GMT)
Okay, I'm assuming I have permission to also write a little prologue from the TF guys' point of view? Or am I completely mistaken?

Virtro Tugimora - June 28, 2008 05:12 PM (GMT)

Go ahead. I suppose I'm overseeing this thread, unless Delta want's to.
