The young male clutched the file in his hand, walking up the stairs of the Coucil Chambers. He watched as several C-Sec guards walked by, heading down the elevator he had come from. He turned, walking along the railing and coming to a locked door.
He pulled out a small keycard, slipping it into the lock. The door latch opened, Caleb opening the door. A Turian and Human guard were inside, one watching TV, the other focused on the door. They asked him who he was, and why he was here. He showed his ID, they let him pass.
He walked back into the 'Offices'. He was looking for one of the Councilers, and to his luck the Human Couciler was in. One of the other assistants led him through the halls, bypassing a security checkpoint and finding his office.
"Counciler Larsen, a file is here for you" The assistant said, Caleb waiting to be recognized.
"I will try my best to bring it to the attention of the other councilors but, I can't promise they'll intervene..." Sedo said, explaining his position on an unknown issue to a represenative back on Earth, "Keep in mind also, I am a Councilor and independent of the Alliance I can't be biased, please do understand that." The man on the other end sighed reluctantly and the trans-galactic communication was ended. Sedo shook his head and gave an even greater sigh, "Why did I have to accept this? Jeez." The first human councilor in galactic history leaned back in his comfortable chair and rubs his hands over his face briefly wishing he could return to his pre-Councilor days when he had been an entrepreneur.
Just then his door swished open revealing one his aides. It was one of his human aides; she was a graduate from a prestigious university on Earth and was an expert on the Asari culture, "Councilor Larsen, a file is here for you." She pointed at the man next to her. Sedo assumed he was a courier.
Sedo stood up, his impressive Councilor gowns rustling in the speed of his motion, "What kind of file is it? I wasn't aware I had requested any reports?" The human Councilor extended his hand for the file.
"Sir, This a Mission Report from the recent Batarian attack on Lionel." He said as he opened it. laying a few pages on the desk.
"At the battle a Batarian ship was captured, and it could prove to endanger every ship and planet in Council Space." He said pointing to a picture of the Batarian Lucifer.
"The Lucifer was built on Abioseh, and has six Super Massive MAC cannons on it. At the battle one shot took out an Alliance Cruiser and crippled a Frigate." He then pointed to the damage reports of the ships.
It showed that only 21 people made it off the Kiev, the rest were killed in the inital blast of when the Oxygen escaped. Pictures of both the ships show the signifacnt damage done to them.
"One shot managed to break through the kinetic barrier, plow through the ship, break out of the kinetic barriers on the other side, and depleted the sheilds on the Frigate which allowed debris to cripple it.
That kind of power in the hands of criminals and pirates is not good for anyone. With a few shots this thing could take out the Ascension most likely. But were lucky, Captain Curtis Freeman of the SSV Normandy II managed to capture it."
He pointed to the page showing the picture of the Mako flying into the cabin, and a quick bio of the soldier.
"But the bad news is that we suspect that the Lucifer is being mass produced. The Alliance wants you to talk to the Council in order to get us permission to send strike teams into the Terminus Systems." He finished.
