(Note:This takes out of cannon of any storyline Im in. This is due to it being my last post.)

Leo XV sighed. He was looking out of one of the ships windows silence, looking out into the silent darkness of space. Phon, Gen and Karios approached approached him "Whats wrong captin?" Karios asked.

There was a gap of silence before Leo spoke up ++How did you know that-++

"Something was wrong?" Phon finished "its sort of obvious Captin, you've been really quiet, even for you"

"I wouldn't blame him" Gen said "We've had no missions in ages, noone seems to want to join the crew, there's no excitment anymore".

++Its not just that Gen++ Leo XV added, not moving an inch ++I've been thinking... or at least, the Geth equivelant, about space and scociety as it is++ he paused, then continued ++when one being of even beastal intelligence meets another, there is a clash. With more sentient beings, they call this "battle" or "war". Effectively this makes all the pointless killing, all the fighting, pointless++ he paused again, then continued again ++why should we attempt to reconstruct scociety, or even explore the universe, if its only going to bring more conflict?++

Silence filled the room again. Then Gen spoke up "because its right" he said.

"Because its what makes us what we are" Karios added.

"Because it gives sight to those who cannot see, hearing to those who can't hear..." Phon started.

++And a voice to those who cannot be heard++ Leo finished. If he had a mouth, he would've smiled ++you three are right. Thank you++ he said, walking to the door ++and goodbye++ he said, leaving his battle crew confused.

On the deck he approached Variul "Captin, I didn't expect you on deck" the XO said.

++Thats because I need to tell you something++ Leo XV said ++I have noticed++ he whispered ++that since the dragon teeth mission, my curcit's have been functioning less and less effectively++

"We should take you to Lieutenant Helmer, she could..." Variul started, then noticed the look in Leo XV's lense "You never intended to cure it did you?"

Leo shook his head piece ++no++ he said ++my time has come old friend. I have approximately an hour before Im permenently rendered offline. However I cannot leave this ship without a Captin++ he said, turning, then looked at Variul ++you are captin now++ he said, walking to the door.

Leo crawled into one of the escape pod shutes, sealed off from the rest of the ship. He knew that the crew would be mad at his actions, but they would understand in time. Before he hit the button to open the shute, his eye optic glowed. He etched a message on to his arms and body, then hit the release button, shooting him out into space.

"To those whould would find this body" it said "this is a message to you. Ensure peace is preserved, as my body will be. It is the only solution for a universe of no killing, of no death, of eternal peace. That is the key to the ultimate scociety, the ultimate universe. A Mass Effect Universe"

As Leo read his writing, he noted the counter on his view screen, reading 10 seconds. Using all of his remaining energy, he flared out a final blast of light from his XV. Then the counter went to his final seconds.

3...2...1...

And then all there was to Leo was darkness.
