Appearance: A twin-boom craft. looking towards the fore of the craft, the left boom incorparates a large Magnetic Accelarometer Cannon, as well as various electronic warfare systems. The right boom contains the Command bridge and other crew facilities. It has delta wings to give lift in atmosphere.

Combat Role: The Midway is designed to operate as part of a larger fleet. The Tactical Strike classification is its combat role. The Midway is designed to cripple larger ships by damaging or destroying vital systems with its large MAC gun, or to blind them with a number of complex Scamblers and Jammers. This either disables the ship in question for capture, or as easy pray for the rest of the fleet. The Midway has twice the amount of maneovring jets than standard frigates, making it more agile, and has a larger than normal drive core, though not as big as the Normandy's
