12x6 meters, the Sabre weighs in at around 12 tons.

Biography:

Sabre Interceptors were designed for widespread use in the Alliance Navy. Designed as a fighter killer, the Sabre's specially designed Element Zero engine produces thousands of pounds of thrust more than the next leading star fighter. With a pilot, navigator and four VI, the Sabre has top of the line detection equipment, designed to spot and catch fighters and frigates. Both crew members control their own respective Gauss Turrets, one on the top of the craft, the other on the bottom. The turret is linked to the crew member's helmet, turning to target wherever the crew member looks at.

The 120mm Handel Rocketpod is controlled by the pilot, using a VI to designate targets, the 20 shot pod is designed for star fighter and freighter combat, being able to overwhelm the target with high speed rockets.

While the Interceptor has teeth and legs, her main weakness is shields. While her kinetic barriers are still strong, they are nowhere near what is required in a full combat situation. Relying mainly on speed and fast strikes, the Sabre is not recommended for a pilot with half a brain.

Needless to say, after they released several months ago, Turian and Human pilots alike have lined up to attempt to pass the tests required to fly her.

The Rapier is 14 meters long, 8 meters wide and weighs in at 16 tons

Biography:

One of the older models of star fighters in existence in the Systems Alliance Military. Used by all of the Armed Forces, the Rapier is known to just keep going. The first model, the MK-15A, was one of the first starfighter designs by the Systems Alliance, built strong, due to lack of shielding. This style of building was not lost over the years as the ship was continually upgraded.

Now the Rapier sports the highest capital ship kill ratio out of all the alliance's fighters, having four disruptor torpedo launchers to deal with capital ships, with two Handel rocketpods for anti fighter support. Known to withstand direct hits, returning home with half it's flight frame missing and having a high kill ratio, makes this one of the Alliance's most favored fighters.

Note: Older models of the Rapiers are often seen in other militaries and in the hands of colonists or pirates. Often after supply grows beyond the amount of pilots, the older models are auctioned off to the highest bidders.

The Warhammer is 24 meters long, 14 meters wide, weighing 18 tons w/ nuclear warheads.

Biography:

The Warhammer is considered the prime Alliance Bomber. While the Rapier is capable of engaging and destroying capital ships when in squadrons, the Warhammer is able to do so on it's own. It's Matrix Disruptor Torpedoes are loaded in an internal magazine and launched through tubes on either side of the cockpit, these torpedoes strike with the same impact as a small MAC cannon. The Warhammer's Gauss turret is controlled by the navigator, which is more than capable of discouraging any interceptor or fighter stupid enough to come within range of the weapon.

As icing to the cake, the Warhammer has two hardpoints under it's aerodynamic frame, capable of holding anything from a Handel missile pod to a Cataract Tactical Nuclear Missile. More often than not, it is armed with the latter, to deal with larger threats on both space and ground.

Congrats man, beautiful.

As a note, any ships with "[variable] of the Alliance" means anyone basically can use them. With reason.

Makes more sense for an Alliance guy to have Alliance ships. Pirates may have some things, but for instance, some of the latest stuff, like the interceptors wouldn't make much sense unless we gotta blackmarket leak somewhere! >.> [miniplot!]

I'll work on stuff for other races later.

First one is the best : P

It's the latest technology. No you can't have one unless you're in the Alliance Navy or give a very good reason on how you were able to steal one. It'd be like stealing an F-35

People would notice new hardware missing.

Delta Team Curt - January 16, 2008 02:05 AM (GMT)
Wasnt trying to get one : P
