Title: C-Sec (Citadel Security)
Rasengod7 - December 8, 2007 01:04 AM (GMT)
Three turian agents were patrolling the dock. A shuttle was in the process of docking. "Docking procedure finished. Welcome to the Citadel." the VI said over the intercom. A single turian stepped outside of the shuttle. One of the patrolling turians ran up to him. "Welcome to the Citadel, Kaleb. My name is Jord." Jord said. "I am an officer at C-Sec." "It is a pleasure to meet you." Kaleb replied. "Please follow me to the elevator. I will take you to the Academy." Jord said. The two walked to the elevator and entered it. The elevator proceeded to activate and it moved down.
Rasengod7 - December 8, 2007 01:39 AM (GMT)
The elevator halted to a stop when it reached its destination. The two turians walked out of the elevator. The C-Sec Academy was very crowded. "Wow I have never seen so many different species in one place. This place is filled with excitement." Kaleb exclaimed. A detained krogan broke loose and made a run for the elevator. Kaleb stepped in front of him and flipped him on his back. The agents ran to him and redetained him. "Thanks a lot." one of the agents said. "No problem." Kaleb responded. "Nice reflexes. Now you know how things work here." Jord said. "Follow me." Jord walked up a set of stairs. Kaleb followed.
Rasengod7 - December 8, 2007 02:07 AM (GMT)
Jord and Kaleb reached the top of the stairs. Ahead of them was a screen. The screen came to life and the face of a turian was clearly seen. "My name is Executor Palin. I am the leader of the Citadel Security. Welcome." Palin said. "It is an honor to serve under you sir. I learned of many of your missions. You are one of the only turians ever to turn down the position of Spectre." Kaleb said. "Silence!" Palin shouted. "Spectres are those who don't abide by the law. They are criminals. Never mention the Spectres in my prescense." Palin shouted. "Sorry sir." Kaleb said. "It doesn't matter. Now I have read your record. I have decided to pair you up with Jord here. He will show you the ropes. You are new so you need a mentor." Palin said. "As a C-Sec officer you must respect the rights all species have. You are allowed to carry a firearm. It is our duty to protect the innocent. You will go on active duty tomorrow. Rest up." Palin's face faded off the screen. "Not smart to get him ticked off." Jord said. "Yeah I just learned." Kaleb said. "I'll take you to your quarters. Follow me. Tomorrow I'll take you to get your firearms and then we'll go on patrol." Jord said. The two of them left the academy and took a rapid transport to the living district. Kaleb went to his apartment and went to sleep. He dreamed of his life back home.
Rasengod7 - December 8, 2007 02:30 AM (GMT)
...Next day...
"You're on time that's a shock." Jord said. "What are you implying. I'm never late to anything." Kaleb responded. "I didn't mean anything by it. It's just new recruits are usually lax. Guess your not." Jord said. "That's good." Jord walked down a set of stairs leading Kaleb to the Requisitions officer. Kaleb recieved the standard equipment that C-Sec agents recieved. They left the Academy and began their patrol in the Markets.
Humans were moving at a quick pace trying to get all their Christmas shopping done. The other species of the galaxy didn't recognize Christmas, but they all had holidays like that. "The human's Christmas season usually bring a lot of pickpockets and thieves out of hiding." Jord said. "I can imagine. The humans are buying so much. They are all easy prey for thieves." Kaleb said. "That's why we are here. To stop the thieves." Jord replied. "Help that man stole my purse." a woman shouted. "Here we go rookie." Jord said. The robber ran down the stairs and the two officers chased him. The robber continued to run, but the officers were faster. Kaleb tripped the man and Jord kept him pinned. "Good job, Kaleb." Jord said. "You are under arrest, thief." The thief stopped struggling. Three salarians emerged from the shadows and began to open fire on the two unsuspecting officers. Jord's shields were able to absorb the blasts. Kaleb returned fire. One of the salarians was killed. The other two took cover. The thief began running again. "Kaleb don't let him get away. They're working together." Jord said. Jord began to open fire to give Kaleb cover. "I'll handle these two, go." Jord shouted. Kaleb began pursuing the thief.
Rasengod7 - December 8, 2007 03:05 AM (GMT)
The thief ran into Chora's den. He went to the bouncer. "I need to see Farl." the thief said. "I work for Enigma. I have the package." the bouncer led him in to the new owner of Chora's Den, Farl Dinu.
Kaleb ran into the club. He looked around and didn't see the thief. Two krogan bouncers walked up to him. "Do you need any help?" one of the bouncers asked. "Yes I am searching for a thief." Kaleb said. "Sorry no thieves here. Please exit the way you came in." the bouncer said. "I saw him enter here. You can't stop me. I'm with C-Sec." Kaleb said. "You see that is the problem. We don't like C-Sec agents." the bouncer said. The bouncer hit Kaleb over the head. They threw him over the edge of the railing outside.
"Where am I?" Kaleb asked. Kaleb awoke in a medical office. "You're in my clinic. My name is Dr. Chloe Michel. Some men found you outside Chora's Den." Dr. Michel said. "Where's Jord?" Kaleb asked. "Who?" she asked. "I have to find him. He's in trouble." Kaleb said. Kaleb got up and ran outside back to Chora's Den. "Wait up, Kaleb." someone shouted. A human came running behind him. "Who are you?" Kaleb asked. "I'm Arthur Howard. I work with C-Sec. I heard about you." Arthur said. "What do you want?" Kaleb asked. "I'm here to help. Those salarians you fought took Jord to the club. I've been doing some undercover work for awhile. I saw the bouncers knock you out and throw you over." Arthur said. "You just watched?" Kaleb said angrily. "I had to. I would have blown my cover. Now I'm here to help. I have all the info I need." Arthur said. "Kidnapping a C-Sec agent is a capital offense. Farl can't get out of this one. Here are some weapons. You'll need them. Let's go."
Kaleb and Arthur made it back to Chora's Den. The bouncers were waiting at the door with their guns raised. They began firing. Kaleb fired back and took them out. Arthur ran in and threw a grenade. Most of the guards were killed. Kaleb knocked out the bouncer guarding the entrance to the office. "Are we allowed to have grenades?" Kaleb asked. "It's necessary." Arthur said. He opened the door to Farl's office.
"Welcome C-Sec." Farl said. Farl had a gun to Jord's head. "Shoot him." Jord shouted. "Shut up turian. I make the orders." Farl responded. "Where is the data disk you got from the thief?" Arthur shouted. "How did you know about that?" Farl said. "No you couldn't be..." Arthur shot Farl in the head. Kaleb ran over to Jord. Arthur began searching for the disk. "Jord are you okay?" Kaleb asked. "Yeah who is that?" Jord said. "You don't know him. He said he worked in C-Sec." Kaleb replied. "I know everyone in C-Sec. He's not an agent." Jord said. Kaleb pulled his gun on Arthur. "Who are you really?" Kaleb asked Arthur. "You know I was going to spare you, but I guess you forced my hand. I found the disk and know you must die." Arthur said. Arthur began shooting at the two turians. They took cover. Arthur threw a grenade. Jord pushed Kaleb away and was killed in the explosion. "Jord!!!" Kaleb shouted. "You bastard." Kaleb unloaded on Arthur. Arthur was injured. He began to run. Kaleb blew out his kneecaps. "I should kill you, but I won't. I'll bring you in for questioning." Kaleb said. C-Sec agents began running into Chora's Den. Arthur grabbed his gun and shot himself.
Rasengod7 - December 8, 2007 03:58 AM (GMT)
...One Week Later...
"I agree with Kaleb's choice." Palin said. Executor Palin and Caleb are talking about the disc with the Council. "The information on this disc is clear. Farl and Arthur were working for someone in the ExoGeni Corporation. We have to follow these leads." Palin said. "There are no Spectres available so we have to send in a team." "This goes beyond C-Sec's jurisdiction." the Salarian Councilor said. "He is right." the Asari Councilor said. "C-Sec deals with Citadel problems, not galactic issues." "We have no time to wait for a Spectre." Kaleb said. "We will lose our window." "What do you suggest?" the turian councilor said. "We are not sending in a team of C-Sec agents." "I'll go alone then." Kaleb said. "Don't be foolish. One agent can do nothing." the turian councilor said. "You're wrong. Jord gave his life for me. He saved me. I need to do this. Please." Kaleb pleaded. The Councilors were making their choice. "Fine. Permission Granted." the asari councilor said. "We will allow you passage on a frigate going to Feros and a choice of two other agents." the turian councilor said. "You will not go under the banner of C-Sec, but we will grant you the status of Turian Agent." the salarian councilor said. "Dismissed."
"You're lucky. Since the reaper situation the Council has been more lenient." Palin said. "Lenient. We had to beg them." Kaleb said. "Listen I will find you an appropriate ship and I will choose the other members. The supplies will also be ready. I won't be able to meet you there so good luck." Palin said. "Thank you sir. Thank you for everything." Kaleb said. "Bring the bastard that caused Jord to die to justice." Palin left. Kaleb went to get ready and then he moved towards the docks.
Rasengod7 - December 8, 2007 05:42 AM (GMT)
Kaleb walked on the deck of the ship, the Starbound. The captain of the Starbound was a turian named Hoid. The ship had very few crew members. This ship was perfect for this mission though because the prototype engine can get them to Feros in 18 hours. Whoever ordered the OSD to be stolen was in ExoGeni and he had to be stopped. Executor Palin picked two C-Sec agents to accompany Kaleb. The turian was named Rew. The human was named Desmund. They both had impressive records. They met with the captain in the conference room.
"What did the OSD have on it?" Capt. Hoid asked. "The disk had records of shady deals between someone in Exogeni and an unknown group. They were selling some type of object. We haven't figured out what it is, but we know ExoGeni does." Kaleb said. "I thought ExoGeni was into colonial expansion." Desmund asked. "Seems like they aren't anymore." Rew replied. "I don't think it is ExoGeni that is doing this deal, but someone in ExoGeni." Kaleb said. "I agree. Fine we know what we have to do." Capt Hoid said. "We need to find this person and eliminate him or her." "Captain we have reached Feros." the pilot said. The Starbound moved towards one of Feros' docks.
Continued in Feros
Rasengod7 - December 9, 2007 12:27 AM (GMT)
Continued from Hades Gamma
After two days of repairs the Starbound was ready for action. The Starbound was escorted by an asari cruiser back to the Citadel. The C-Sec agents met with Executor Palin. "What did you discover?" Palin asked. "The geth are the buyers sir." Kaleb said. "The geth, I am sure the Council will allow you to pursue this further." Palin said. "Sir our only lead now is this geth memory core. We need Citadel scientists to examine it." Desmund said. "Fine I will have our scientists examine this." Palin said. Palin took the memory core and went to the labs. The three agents went to their living quarters waiting for the results of the examination.
The 'Verse Walker - December 10, 2007 08:25 PM (GMT)
The Guadalcanal docked with the Citadel, its hull shining from all the lights that it was emitting. Vapuka kicked back in his chair on the bridge and smiled and the voice of the VI stated "We are now docked Spectre Vapuka."
"Thank you Jewel. Let the C-Sec know that I have a package for them." He replied, using the nickname he had given her. The 'package' was a rouge agent who had taken some info with him that the Council didn't want getting out.
"Yes Spectre." Jewel responded as Vapuka got out of his chair and headed towards the brig. When he arrived, he was greeted with the snarl of the agent, a well-built turian who had many scars. It was a simple matter though to transfer the turian into C-Sect's hands and report to the Council, who were pleased by the agent's quick recovery.
Rasengod7 - December 10, 2007 11:21 PM (GMT)
Executor Palin walked into the harbor and saw the spectre, Vapuka. "Ah human, what are you still doing here? I thought the Council gave you a pat on the head and sent you an your way." Palin said.
The 'Verse Walker - December 10, 2007 11:30 PM (GMT)
"It's a matter of where to go that's the real question. It'd be a hassle to fly out only to have the Council call me and have me turn around. Besides, it's nice here. No snow, but it's still nice." Vapuka replied. He was inspecting all the weapons on the Guadalcanal, and while the VI generally made sure they were fine, he liked to conduct visual inspections to pass the time.
Rasengod7 - December 10, 2007 11:36 PM (GMT)
"Hmm, fine. I'll be leaving then." Palin said. Palin exited the hangar and went back to the academy.
The Truzion appeared out of the mass relay. With the radar jammer they couldn't be detected. They made there way to one of the Citadel's emergency hatches. Ultra, Enigma and a squad of geth left the ship and entered the Citadel through a secret passage. Enigma's mercenaries secured a room for them to hide out in. "The OSD is in C-Sec. We will make our attack tomorrow." Ultra said.
Rasengod7 - December 11, 2007 01:13 AM (GMT)
Ultra and his forces moved through the Citadel. They were disguised in hoods. They reached the entrance to the C-Sec Academy. They began their search for the OSD. Rew and Desmund were taking a break from patroling. They were waiting for their break to be over. In the meantime they went back to the academy.
Rasengod7 - December 11, 2007 03:27 AM (GMT)
"I have found the location of the OSD." a geth soldier said. "All forces move to that location." Ultra ordered. Enigma snuck into the C-Sec super computer room. He killed the techincians and hacked into the computer. The computer's defenses were strong, but he was able to override them. He searched for data on all known recent spectre missions. He downloaded the data and left the room to join Ultra.
Rew went to his locker to get his civilian clothes. He and Desmund completely finished their shift. He searched through his locker. Someone bumped into him. "Hey watch where you are going?" Rew said. The person's hood fell off and it was a geth. Rew reached for his pistol, but the geth shot first. "Pathetic synthetic." Ultra said. Ultra continued walking to the location. "All geth eliminate all of the organics." Ultra ordered.
Xiango - December 11, 2007 10:05 AM (GMT)
As the SSV Manchester came into dock, and a 3 man shore party disembarked, the commander quickly found out that somthing was going on as gaurds had made a blockade around the lift going down to C-sec.
"what's goin on ? "
Rasengod7 - December 12, 2007 02:28 AM (GMT)
The geth began to fire on C-Sec agents. They were caught off guard. Enigma and Ultra found the OSD and began to leave with it.
Desmund was fighting four geth shock troopers in the main lobby. He opened fire and threw grenades. All four were eventually eliminated. Enigma and Ultra walked into the lobby and shot at Desmund. He took cover again. "I need backup. The Geth have taken the OSD and there is a turian helping them." Desmund said on his radio.
Mr. X - December 12, 2007 03:41 AM (GMT)
As the First Contact came into dock, Limerus had the slight feeling of weightlessness as the ship connected to the bridge at the Citadel docks. He gave a slight smile, cut off because of his tribe's mask. Slowly making his way off the Galaxy Map and back onto the bridge, he punched in a series of numbers on a datapad, and a door opened before him. 'Airlock' was read above the door, and before Captain Almore knew it, he could hear the familiar ringing in his ears, along with the misty smell of anti-bacterial spray. After about two minutes, a second set of doors opened in front of him.
Sprawled before the Turian was the too familiar sight of the Citadel docks, thousands of ships pouring in and out beside his. He was alone, now making his way on to the stainless-steel platform. He was almost surprised when he bumped into the massive hulk in front of him.
"Limerus," croaked the Krogan, nodding his head in recognition. "I'm sure you haven't forgotten our agreement?"
The captain said not a word, simply reaching into his suit containment, coming out with a single, meaty finger. Purple blood was wiped all across it, and it was clear from whom it belonged to: a Volus.
"The diplomat is done." Limerus was almost surprised to hear himself talking, something he had not done in days. In fact, all he had done the past couple of days was do things he had come to regret, and guilt filled him as he spoke with the mercenary.
The Krogan boomed with laughter, startling the much smaller Turian. "I mis evaluated you, Limerus. You have to be the dirtiest Turian militant I've seen since Saren himself."
Limerus rolled his eyes, about to retort at the Krogan's tease in a bitter manner, when his com signal flickered, and a voice boomed inside his suit receiver. He did not recognize it, but it was clearly Turian.
"I need backup. The Geth have taken the OSD and there is a turian helping them."
The Krogan's smile faded, along with a frown appearing on Captain Almore's face.
"Looks like one of your buddies needs some help, Limerus."
Before Limerus could wonder why he was tuned to the C-Sec channel, 1,000 Galactic Credits were piled into his hands, which he quickly realized, and jammed into his suit container. Before he knew it, the Krogan had left, the elevator just descending to C-Sec Headquarters.
Captain Almore sighed, approached a Citadel Rapid Transit console, and punched in the coordinates from where the transmission came from. Soon enough, he was arriving at a fight between organics and synthetics.
Rasengod7 - December 12, 2007 03:49 AM (GMT)
Desmund was fighting off 7 geth soldiers now. He was already injured in his left arm. There were three more agents with him. Ultra and Enigma headed to the elevator. They began to go up.
Kaleb came back from the doctor's office. He already wiped out the geth in the holding area and the stairwells singlehandedly. He was heading to where Desmund is. On the way he found Rew's body. "I will avenge you Rew. The geth shall not get away with this." Kaleb said. Kaleb went to the lobby.
Mr. X - December 12, 2007 03:55 AM (GMT)
As Limerus began to dock in the rapid transport, his eyes widened in shock: three Citadel Security Members took cover behind a railing, while seven of what he recognized as Geth fired on them. The synthetics almost instantly saw him, and all at once coordinated some of their fire on him.
Leaping off of the rapid transport and barely landing on the main lobby floor, he reached for his pistol and slid under the cover that the guards took. With his shields completely dead and recharging, he reached his hand out to the Turian next to him.
"Captain Limerus Almore, Turian Navy."
Rasengod7 - December 12, 2007 04:08 AM (GMT)
"Sorry sir. No time for formalities. My name is Desmund." Desmund said. 2 of the geth moved forward to finish the fight. The other two agents opened fire and wiped out those two geth. A geth armature suddenly appeared blasting through the main entrance. "Crap." one of the agents said. Kaleb burst into the room blasting all the geth soldiers. He took cover and all of the agents and Limerus began firing on the armature. "We don't have time for this. We can't let the geth leave the Citadel alive. They have the OSD. We need to get to the hangar." Kaleb said.
Mr. X - December 12, 2007 04:12 AM (GMT)
Limerus took several blind fires, his rounds helplessly hitting the wall. He bounced up for a split second, his omni-tool drown. Within a press, the Armature was under Limerus' control, completely hacked. It began firing on its fellow Geth, clearly distracting them.
"Get that OSD, Desmund--I've got these guys for now!"
OOC: My last post for the day, I'm looking forward to posting tomorrow. Night guys.
Rasengod7 - December 12, 2007 04:22 AM (GMT)
((See ya, my last post for the night too))
Desmund left Limerus to fight against the geth. Kaleb followed close behind.
Ultra and Enigma boarded the Truzion. They began to take off and headed straight for the mass relay.
Desmund and Kaleb boarded the Starbound. Capt Hoid had the ship begin chasing the Truzion. The Truzion had a head start, but the Starbound activated the burst engines and immediately caught up. The Starbound fired three torpedoes. The Truzion was hit by one. The other two missed. The Truzion fired its rear lasers to slow down the Starbound, but it didn't work. The truzion raced to the mass relay and finally made it through. The Starbound was about to go through, but was cut off by a cruiser. "The Council does not want you to give chase. Capt Hoid, Kaleb, Desmund and Capt Limerus are all to report to the Council." the captain of the Turian cruiser, the Relentless, said over the radio.
Xiango - December 12, 2007 11:29 AM (GMT)
When the ships that had left before, the commander was waiting for some kind of acknowlegement.
His ship decoupleing and opening its main hatch about 10 meters away from the ramp, the commander ran up the ramp giving a jump and landing in the airlock, doors close, and he walks inside.
"citidel control, we are departing"
He knew he wasnt needed at the collection iof captains meeting, somhow it made him feel un-wanted, but the ship sped for the mass relay.
Mr. X - December 12, 2007 01:40 PM (GMT)
With the Armature dead, only one Geth Trooper remained, a clear hole through its chest. It crawled on the ground, using only its hands, and Limerus laughed in pity. He calmly walked out of his covered location, raised his pistol to the Geth's flashlight head, and pulled the trigger. The synthetic growled a series of low pitched radio frequencies, and then fell dead.
It was about then when he received a burp of com chatter, this time on his private channel: "Captain Almore, this is Executor Palin. I just received an urgent message from the Council requesting a meeting with you and some C-Sec Agents. They want to know what in the world just happened."
Limerus growled, furious. When the C-Sec officer had called for back-up, the Captain supposed he was having trouble with mercs or assassins, but not synthetics--this put a huge hole into his schedule. Then there was the fact that the Geth had gotten into the Citadel completely undetected. For all he knew, they could have planted charges on the entire station, and accomplished what the Sovereign had set out to do 13 years ago.
"Affirmative, Executor. I'll be at the Citadel Tower in about 20 minutes." Limerus took the moment to quickly switch his transmission. "Queenan?" He mumbled into his ship's com channel.
"Sir? Are you alright, I was getting increased vital signs and a loss of shields--"
"Queenan, I want you to send in Blade and Straught. Tell them to meet me at the Citadel Tower."
There was silence for a minute or two, and then finally a response from the pilot, "Alright, sir. That's a go."
Limerus quietly walked to the deserted markets (everyone had run for the Presidium or Chora's Den when the attack hit), approaching the Rapid Transport. He punched in the exclusive code for the Citadel Tower, and was soon on his way.
Rasengod7 - December 12, 2007 07:59 PM (GMT)
Kaleb, Desmund and Capt Hoid all walked into the Citadel Tower. They met with Executor Palin and Capt Almore. Security was very tight. They walked up to the pedestal. "What in the world happened?" the turian councilor said. "Explain yourselves." "Sir there was a security breach in the citadel. A group of Geths infiltrated C-Sec Academy to steal the OSD. They were successful, but we were able to keep the casualties low." Palin said. "How can the geth bypass the entire Citadel Fleet. We shut down the mass relay that connects to the Conduit for good." the salarian councilor said. "They used their ship. The geth ship, Truzion, can disrupt all communications and radar. That's why it is impossible to detect except visually." Kaleb said.
The councilors looked at each other as if making a decision. "Kaleb please step forward." the asari councilor said. Kaleb stepped forward. "Due to the situation at hand we realize that stopping this group of geth is top priority. We cannot pursue them into the Terminus System, but a spectre can." the asari councilor said. "Your actions in the C-Sec academy saved countless lives. You were heroic and you fought for justice. That is what a spectre needs to be." the salarian councilor said. "Executor Palin nominated you for this position. We all accept. Lieutenant Kaleb, you are now a Spectre." the turian councilor said. "Your first mission as a spectre will be to pursue the crew of the Truzion and the rogue turian into the Terminus System. Recover the OSD and eliminate the Seeker device. The geth are trying to find the Migrant Fleet. The lives of all Quarians are in your hands. Captains Hoid and Almore will assist you in stopping the geth. You can choose anyone you want to go with you on this mission." the asari councilor said. "Good Luck!" all of the councilors said. Kaleb, desmund, Palin, Hoid and Almore all left the Citadel tower and headed to the docks.
The 'Verse Walker - December 12, 2007 08:14 PM (GMT)
If there was one thing that came with the job of a Spectre that was really annoying was boredom. For one thing, more often than not there were long periods of pure traveling, which meant that Vapuka had to improvise to set back the boredom. In short, he basically did this by talking to Jewel and playing games against her. Some were simple games like chess, while others were more advanced and sometimes unfathomable for even one such as him. But in all, it passed the time until he was needed. Like right now, since he had just witnessed the introduction of another Spectre.
It was his personal opinion that just because someone does something good doesn't make them instantly worthy of the Spectre title. Sauren was proof of that. The Council's choice was the Council's choice however, not his, so he might as well help in the best way he could.
Vapuka caught up with the new Turian Spectre, Kaleb, and said "Congratulations, and good work with the incident in C-Sect."
Rasengod7 - December 12, 2007 09:27 PM (GMT)
"Your Vapuka right." Kaleb asked. "Your a hero among your people. If I may ask would you like to join us on this mission? We need a lot of help on this. The Council said I could pick anyone I want." Kaleb waited for Vapuka's answer.
Mr. X - December 12, 2007 10:29 PM (GMT)
Captain Almore, still following Kaleb, heard the question he had asked, and instantly came up with the idea to join his fellow Turian. He paused for a moment, hating to interrupt his conversation.
"I don't like being much of a burden Kaleb, but with those Geth having that OSD, I think you're going to need a man who knows the enemy inside out, and can help recover the OSD without damaging it. I'm that man." Almore slightly cocked his head to the side, indicating that he was asking to join Kaleb's squad.
Rasengod7 - December 12, 2007 10:36 PM (GMT)
"We need all the help we can get. Okay everyone. We have two ships at our disposal. Capt Hoid's ship and Capt Almore's ship. The Starbound will be our flagship. We will split ourselves between the two ships. I will stay on the Starbound." Kaleb said. "I will go on Capt Almore's ship." Desmund said.
Everyone boarded the ships. Kaleb prepared to give his orders. ""We are going to pursue the geth wherever they go. We don't have much time. We have two objectives. Recover the OSD and destroy the Seeker device. I want to find out who that turian, travelling with the geth, is too. All ships launch." Kaleb said. Both ships left the Citadel and headed through the mass relay heading for the Terminus System.
Mr. X - December 12, 2007 10:39 PM (GMT)
OOC: to the Terminus Systems, I suppose. Should you make the thread?
Rasengod7 - December 19, 2007 03:40 AM (GMT)
((Continued from Ilos))
Kaleb was waiting for the Acquistions officer to give him his new weapons. His other weapons were obsolete. Desmund was getting ready to board the Starbound. Dygnitas went to relax until we were ready. "Here. These weapons are the latest Spectre weapons." the officer said. "Thanks." Kaleb said. Kaleb left and went back to the Starbound.
Mr. X - December 22, 2007 12:35 AM (GMT)
OOC: Continued from Citadel Space.
IC: A simple stealth drop from Liberation had allowed Limerus entry to the C-Sec elevator without any resistance. He knew that only the Spectres and the Council itself knew of his plans, but he still took with him Robert, just in case a Spectre did find him. The Turian couldn't help but glance at Robert on the way down the elevator, thinking of the Human's thoughts on everything. He seemed rather passive on the whole situation--he was one of the better mercs the captain had worked with before.
The elevator door opening, Limerus and Robert exited the transport, the Turian with a large knapsack on his back. Nobody knew, but there was enough uranium bombs in his bag to completely blow an arm off the Citadel.
And as he strode to the upper C-Sec headquarters, he couldn't help but laugh.
Rasengod7 - December 22, 2007 12:42 AM (GMT)
Desmund was exhausted from all the missions he has been on. He had to chase a rogue turian, fight geth everywhere, fight to protect the Quarians and now they were chasing another rogue turian. He was preparing to leave the C-Sec next week. He was done with all of this action.
Mr. X - December 22, 2007 12:47 AM (GMT)
As he turned the corner, Limerus couldn't help but see a familiar, Human face in the corner: Desmund. He hesitated initially, but then took a step forward, approaching him.
"So, I see you're not in the best of shape."

"Limerus! What are you doing here?" Desmund said. Desmund pulled out his assault rifle. He pressed a button on his omni tool. "Kaleb's coming to take you down. Take another step and I will shoot." Desmund said. He prepared to fire.

Robert immediately pulled out his shotgun, flipping the safety off and aiming right at Desmund. Limerus, however, kept entirely still. He took another step forward, his hand ready to fly to his pistol if needed.
"Don't overreact! You damn right know that the Council has only told you their side of the story. I'm not here to cause trouble."

"I know who you are. You are Saren's son, Limerus Arcterius. You are trying to bring the Reapers back. We found out everything from Dygnitas." Desmund said. Desmund stepped back.

"No!" Limerus called out in a hushed yell. "The Reapers are coming either way. I'm saving who I can and just speeding up what we all know to be inevitable. My father set out to save more lives than could ever be saved by fighting! If I have to be a little aggressive and cold-blooded to finish his noble work, then so be it." Limerus finished the sentence by drawing his pistol, quickly aiming it at Desmund. By now, he was completely unaware if anyone had saw him.
"If I have to blow a couple of half-assed security officers out of my way on the path to justice, then I'll gladly do it."

Desmund aimed his rifle at Limerus. "We have to fight against the Reapers. We can't let them destroy everything. I won't allow it. After all we have been through how can you just let this happen." Desmund said. Desmund was about to pull the trigger, but was shot in the back. Dygnitas stepped out of the shadows. He bent down and shot Desmund again killing him.

Limerus flinched multiple times, amazed at what had just happened. One of his past friends, shot in front of his own eyes by a Turian he had fought not just a day ago. He lowered his pistol, put did not holster it. "What the hell was that? Every C-Sec Agent in the Wards will be here in a matter of minutes--you should have just slit his throat."
