Complete Armament: A standard Dreadnought in the alliance military. Carries a full compliment of Heavy torpedoes and medium number of nuclear ones. Is outfitted with GARDIAN defense systems and a number of large broadside guns in addition to its main gun. A dreadnoughts main gun is the most devastating weapon known to man. Carries a large compliment of marines as well as much support staff. The Hull is outfitted with kinetic shielding. What makes it different is the experimental Zero Point accelerator that has been added to the main gun, this addition makes the blasts from the gun able to further pierce through kinetic shielding which is quite an advancement. Current problem is that the accelerator overheats after one shot so can’t be used often at all without damaging the ship itself. That experimental design should help it pierce even through the armour of a reaper or so the designers made it for. Another Experimental design to the Ship is called ClEAVE a booster design that helps the ship make even quicker manuevers by using multiple boosters on the flanks of the hull, so from dreadnaught to dreadnaught battles The Desolate has a distinct advantage.

Description: More armored and carries more powerful weapons then a cruiser, is the most powerful ship class in Citadel space. The ship is a whole kilometer in length. This ship isn’t currently part of any battle fleet since it has been newly commissioned. The desolate current missions are for enforcement of Alliance interests.
