Congratulations on MOTM sythe, You really should thank yourself though. you gave us so much to work with it made typing easy, leaving plenty room for us to leave it open. People like you, who make sites like this all the more fun are the kind of people who deserve this. Again congratulations.

I second Sythenus' opinion, though with a few extra bits and further explanations:

1.) We should begin nominations starting... now, and nominations should continue till the 28th of this month.
2.) On the 28th, we open the polls for everyone to vote, though I'll leave it to the admins and mods to decide how we're going to do that.
3.) On the 31st (my birthday ^_^) the polls will close, and either that night or on February 1st, we'll have our new MOTM

I would also emphasize three things:

1.) Do not attempt to nominate or vote for yourself (should go without saying, but you never know...)
2.) Preferably give a reason as to why the person you are nominating should be considered MOTM, as it often helps to garner votes if you have a sound argument for your case.
3.) Do not nominate the previous MOTM (sorry Sythe, but you gotta give other people the chance lol)

Obviously, I am neither a mod, nor an admin, so this isn't necessarily how things will work. However, I do believe this is how things would work best.
