Title: Vectra-Gorgon System-Argos Rho
Description: Guardian Base of Operations
Michael Carson - January 18, 2008 02:30 AM (GMT)
**Vectra is the Home of the Guardian Hidden base of operations. While new members are still trained on earth they are sent here after they have completed their training. The planet of Vectra is similar to earth and has varying climates.**
Specifications
Facility Name:
Cheyenne Mountain Complex
Exterior Layout & Defenses:
The complex is hidden under a mountain range in the northern portion of the planet. It is undetectable from space. The cold weather provides a layer of defense itself as well as interrupts communications. The Mountain and surrounding ground have been reinforced to provide protection from orbital bombardment. Snipers are posted in nests that have been built into the mountain. This plus automated defensive turrets along the bases perimeter as well as explosive devices make it difficult to take even if you can find it.
Should a hostile force be spotted and assessed as being a serious threat to base integrity Rapid Response Teams are stationed on a level of high alert at all times and can be deployed in minutes, brining heavy armor and air power into the fight.
Interior Layout & Defenses:
The base is located under the center of the mountain range. The only know entrance is through an elevator shaft in the middle of the mountain. The base is entirely self sufficient for months at a time. It has multiple dining facility, a medical facility with dental office, pharmacy, physical fitness centers with exercise equipment and sauna and even a base exchange and barber shop are all located within the complex. There are three high security labs at the bottom of the complex where advances in weaponry, armor, medical, and Geth technology are studied. The base also houses the Combat Operations Center for the entire guardian organization.
Should hostile forces enter the complex Rapid Response Teams are stationed on a level of high alert at all times. They are stations at the multiple security stations throughout the complex.

The SSV Hiryuu pulled out of FLS and left Leonne back in control of the ship. She was becoming mildly annoyed, with the cramped conditions and the sleeping hacker pressed up against her, holding his laptop like a teddy bear.
"My Mistress, would you state your destination so I may engage the autopilot and allow you and your companion a more pleasurable ride?" the VI asked through the overhead speaker.
"Eh... oui... Vectra in the Gorgon system." Leonne responded, a little rattled by the VI's choice of words.
The beeping signaled that the autopilot had indeed engaged, and without warning the area behind the cockpit opened up like a door, to which the seat in the cockpit began to move into.
"Merde! What ze 'ell is zis?!" Leonne yelled as she and Chase were pulled into the back of the ship rather abruptly.
After a moment or two of movement, the seat turned around to face opposite the cockpit, exposing Leonne to a rather... extravagant living quarters, complete with a bed, desk, built in dresser, and everything else one would keep in an apartment. Leonne raised an eyebrow in curiosity, but began to shake her head when she thought about it some more.
However, she then turned her attention to the now awake Chase, and sighed.
'It'll be a day before we reach Vectra... this is going to be a LONG ride...'
Michael Carson - January 25, 2008 10:14 PM (GMT)
Michael sat in the Armored vehicle as it sped towards a mountain range coming over the Horizon. They had docked at a sub station a few miles away and than proceeded towards the base in vehicles. They had been driving for an hour so far and his legs were beginning to cramp slightly. The man driving looked like an ordinary marine in his BDU but no one on this planet was ordinary. They were all guardians even if they weren't wearing their armor.
"Sir ETA 5 minutes till we enter the complex" The man said over his shoulder. Michael had been the man in charge of this organization for a while now but things had kept him from visiting the base until now. He was coming to the base on a "routine security inspection" as it was called. But really he was giddy to see this place, the construction had been completed a few months ago even though it had been used for quite some time before that.
The vehicle approached the base of the mountain slowing down enough for a large section of rock to split in two revealing a tunnel. They proceeded down the tunnel for a few minutes before entering a larger garage complex. It was busy with activity as men went about repairing components and prepping vehicle for upcoming missions. The transport slowed to a stop in front of a large blast door.
Michael exited the vehicle starting his uniform as he did. His chest was adorned with medals and ribbons as well as a few patches on his sleeve and of course his rank insignia. four heavily armed men walked up to him, the one in lead saluting.
"Sir, Lt.Richards reporting, we well be your security detail during your stay on the complex." the Lt. said gesturing towards his men. Michael returned the salute and nodded at Richards. They headed for the the blast door which was slowly opening to allow access to the elevator. They were all made to step through a scanning devices that was used to make sure no one entering the base had Geth implants. They were all clean. While no Geth had ever found this base let alone tried to sneak into it using a human the possibility of it happening in the future could no be ruled out.
The blast door sealed and Michael with his escort descended into the heart of the Cheyenne Mountain Complex.

Chase awoke as the door opened up, throwing him back into the room. He looked around, seeing the interior. He rubbed his eyes, waking up. He started to come back to life, stretching in the new open space.
He put his bag on the ground, pulling out his laptop. If he was going to be waiting, he might as well do something entertaining. He pulled up a window, containing an algorithm he had been working on. It was designed to try to access the Citadel core, something thought impossible. He had been working on it for about 4 years, the code he had written had been rewritten several times with his ever growing knowledge of hacking.
He wondered where they were headed, not knowing anything yet. He thought it was better not to ask, since she had saved him from being killed on the citadel.
Athena - January 26, 2008 04:21 AM (GMT)
She watched as Chase went about settling into his work. Watching as he intently worked at the computer he had brought, Leonne had to admit that he was certainly dedicated to his work. She wasn't too sure, but she did consider for a moment that this man might actually be a better hacker than her. Not necessarily in the same areas or methodologies, but definitely better overall.
She pulled her knife from the area on her right thigh, beginning to twirl it as she decided to lay down on 'her' bed, which she found to be rather comfortable. After a few moments of extremely beautiful, glistening arcs of metal as her blade spun at a rapid rate, she decided that the sound of typing was a little too boring for the time being.
"Chase, 'ow would you feel about 'elping me to break into a top secret Alliance base on ze planet Vectra?" Leonne asked, her face completely straight as she twirled her dagger at the same speed, not once slowing down for any reason.
Delta Team Curt - January 26, 2008 04:35 AM (GMT)
"Chase, 'ow would you feel about 'elping me to break into a top secret Alliance base on ze planet Vectra?"
Chase stopped typing, hitting the save function on his laptop. He brought up the extranet, searching Vectra. He looked at the results, wondering if she was serious. He looked over just the basic security, stuff that had to be released due to several government restrictions.
"You want me, me, to help you break into the headquarters of the Alliance Special Forces? Guarded by hundreds of troops, guns, and hundreds of security programs."
He started to monologue, but then paused and smiled
"Sure i'll do it"
Athena - January 26, 2008 04:54 AM (GMT)
"Sure i'll do it"
Her smirk appeared once more as her blade continued to travel in beautiful arcs in the air.
"Zat is good... I guess zat is somzing we 'ave in common as 'ackers: we always enjoy ze next big challenge, non?" Leonne said, deciding to sit up from the bed and swing her legs over the edge "I will go ahead and warn you know: zis will be a very, very dangerous mission, so you will need to be prepared for anyzing."
She popped open a compartment of her suit and pulled out another data disk, of which she had numerous others as well. She tossed him the disk before she stood up, stretching her tired muscles as she removed her goggles and let her hair down.
"Zat disk is everyzing I know about ze base, zough some of it is a bit old." she explained as she began to unclasp her stealth suit "Ze plans and locations will not 'ave change much 'owever. Plus I know ze mindset zere: zey are fully prepared for a geth army, so a single 'uman like me will stand a very good chance at getting in undetected."
She began to remove some of the top layer of her armor, still not bothering to consider that there was a younger man in the room with her.
"Ze weazer and location will make it difficult to communicate over a safe distance, and 'acking wirelessly will be just as difficult. Luckily, zis ship can be jury-rigged into a signal booster, and ze onboard computer and VI can be used to aid in all your procedures. I'll explain ze rest after I 'ave changed into somzing a little bit more comfortable."
By this point, Leonne was removing the layer against her skin, revealing a good portion of her bare back to the man at the desk. She turned to smile at him at this point, seemingly unashamed of the fact that she was practically stripping before him.
"Would you mind turning away while I change? I completely forgot my manners, it seems."
Delta Team Curt - January 26, 2008 05:03 AM (GMT)
Chase looked away, blushing. He grabbed the disc and his laptop and walked back to the cockpit area, just about tripping over his bag. He recovered and sat down in the seat and looking away.
"Yeah, i'll be right over here" he called back, staring down at his laptop.
He plugged the data disc into his laptop, the transfer window filling the screen. The data transfered within a few seconds, his computer displaying the new data. He looked through it, clicked a few times and it turning it into a wire frame diagram on the screen.
Athena - January 26, 2008 05:31 AM (GMT)
Leonne finished removing her suit after she was certain the other man was not going to look back at her. She took a few moments to stretch again and feel the pleasant breeze brought about by the air circulation vent against her bare skin. She then headed to compartment that looked to contain clothing, and opened it to reveal several sets of mens Alliance casual uniforms.
It had been a while since she wore one of those, the last time being the night before she stole the XSR000. It brought about memories, both pleasant and otherwise, and she couldn't help but smile as she picked out a pair of pants and a shirt, realizing that this was a man's ship, so there would be comparably little that she could actually wear.
She got dressed rather quickly, and noted that the pants were slightly too big for her and sat dangerously low on her waist. Subsequently, the shirt was not cut right for her body, and it was resting awkwardly on her chest. Still, she was dressed, and that was always a plus when in the presence of others.
"I am decent now, so is zere any question about what 'as to be done, or what I am planning?" Leonne asked as she crossed her arms "Zere is no use repeating zat which is already known."
Delta Team Curt - January 26, 2008 05:43 AM (GMT)
Chase looked over the data, searching the blue print for any weaknesses. He zoomed into a section of the base, staring at the outline of the diagram for a second.
"I am decent now, so is zere any question about what 'as to be done, or what I am planning?"
He looked at it for a second more, allowing his brain to process the situation. He turned in the chair, allowing her to see the laptops screen.
"If you can get me here, I can access the bases entire mainframe" he said as he pointed to the screen.
The view zoomed out, showing the location as an old guard building a mile or two from the main bases defenses. It looked as if it had been left behind, as no major detail was in the diagram, just a basic outline.
Athena - January 26, 2008 06:21 AM (GMT)
Leonne approached Chase, looking at the area on the screen that he was pointing at. She could remember that area, though it was likely that it would be old, broken down, or destroyed by now, but it was still a pretty good idea.
"I can do zat wizout too much difficulty, and depending on ze situation, I may be able to land zis ship near enough zat you could escape in case ze mission takes a turn for FUBAR." she said, carefully remembering what was up with that particular station "You will need an environment suit of some nature, ze weazer is pretty bad up zere."
She yawned a moment later, getting up and remembering to cover her mouth as she did so.
"Ah, I 'ave been awake for a good deal of time now, so I zink I should get some rest first. It is not a good idea to begin a mission on almost no sleep." Leonne said, deciding to head for the bed "Please awake me when we are three 'ours from ze planet, If I am not awake already."
(Next post for me is post-timeskip to just before the mission, you can post if you want delta. If you're wondering why, I'm kinda running out of ideas for conversation at this hour of the morning/night)
Delta Team Curt - January 26, 2008 06:36 AM (GMT)
Chase nodded, wondering how bad the weather could really be. He was tired, the little sleep he got on the floor was painful at best.Chase watched as the Woman went to bed.
He walked over to his bag, putting his laptop into it. He set the computer to have an alarm go off in a few hours to wake him up.He laid down, using the bag as a pillow as his laptop lay open near him.
{{ Timeskip : P Well im really tired, im probably leaving also }}

Leonne was now guiding the ship into the atmosphere, making sure to come in well beyond the range of conventional sensors. She came in low, ensuring that she was not more than ten feet off the ground so that they could approach under the radar that they would be using. Leonne knew how the Alliance thought, how they functioned, and just what they were looking for. This place was more than prepared for a traditional geth assault, but a single Alliance ship flying in under the radar? They wouldn't know what hit them.
She saw the mountains and the target guard post off in the distance, but something felt odd to Leonne. With the awareness and intelligence augmentations she had received, she had learned to take her 'intuition' very seriously. Even with the broken down guard post, it was still possible for things to become problematic very, very quickly.
They eventually arrived at the guard post, able to land approximately twenty yards away with little difficulty. She was sure to point the cockpit in the direction of the guard house, so they, or he, could jump in without any semblance of a problem and leave should the alarms be raised.
"My Mistress, the ship has landed and is fully secure." the VI said through the speakers "I hope you have an enjoyable trip, my Mistress."
"Whatever you say..." Leonne muttered under her breath as she checked to ensure that her helmet and suit were all airtight.
She glanced at Chase, who was now in a lightweight combat suit that was left aboard the ship, and attempted to smile through the mirror-shaded helmet she wore, her goggles on underneath.
"Ready to go? It should be relatively abandoned from ze looks of it."
Delta Team Curt - January 26, 2008 06:03 PM (GMT)
"Ready to go? It should be relatively abandoned from ze looks of it."
"Ready as i'll ever be" he said, his face not showing much emotion.
He grabbed his bag, making sure the strap was tight. He pulled out his pistol, making sure it was loaded. He went though a mental checklist, making sure he had everything. He then jumped down on to the surface, his legs absorbing the shock of the landing. He looked around, making sure nothing was there.
He started making way for the guard post, cautious as he walked up to the door. He pulled a small cable from his bag, plugging it into the key pad that controlled the main door. His hard drive automatically downloaded the code needed, the keypad switching on and glowing green. The door slid open, he unhooked the drive and raised his pistol, proceeding inside.
It was dark, only one or two decade old lights had turned on like they were supposed to. A inch or two of water was pooled in some places, making his footsteps splash. He unknowingly hit a small metal bar, making a clanging noise. He jumped firing the gun off, the bullet ricocheting down the hall.
"God dammit" he muttered into the mic "Got startled"
He made way farther into the post, making his way to a small office. He found what he needed, an old busted computer lay on the desk, a wire running into an equally old port. He pulled the cable out, then pulled out his laptop and connected it. He set it on the desk, pushing the computer to the edge of it. He accessed the system, the first security interface popped up.
"Alright, im in" he said into the mic.
Bane - January 26, 2008 07:08 PM (GMT)
1st Lieutenant Matt Schreck strode quietly but confidently through the halls of the Cheyenne facility. He was quite comfortable with the layout of the base as it was the very same place he underwent his Extreme Weather Survival Training just a few years earlier when he had been a raw recruit with the Guardians. Now Several years later, he walked the halls a battle hardened, and newly promoted officer.
His destination was the main vehicle hanger where he had been assigned to a security detail for a Guardian of some great importance. Wearing his full suit of XJR800 armor, the standard armor for all Guardians, he turned the corner and was met by a Guardian security squadron escorting a Major. He immediately recognized the squad leader as his long time friend, Jack Richards.
"Lt. Richards, 1st Lieutenant Matt Schreck reporting." he hated to be so formal and he wouldn't have been had not the Major been standing behind them.
"These orders seem to be in order, I guess command thinks we need some more help." he leaned in closer to Matt and whispered, "This guy better be worth me wasting my time escorting him around."
Matt smiled although it could not be seen through his helmet and fell in with the other men. He had to admit, he wondered why this man was so important. Not all Majors on base had full security teams escorting them around.
Athena - January 26, 2008 07:13 PM (GMT)
Leonne began to panic as she waited outside the facility, hearing the round go off and contemplating if her cover had been compromised. She was infinitely relieved when Chase informed her of the fact that he had merely been startled. She sighed as she entered the base, opting to be inside and out of the cold. She walked down the hallway for a good bit, passing the room that Chase had made his way into.
She soon came across another office less than ten feet away. It was clearly a superiors office, noting how everything was relatively nice and expensive looking. She also noticed how everything seemed old and outdated, though it was to be expected since the base was practically abandoned.
She pulled open a small locker, taking note of the fact that it opened easier than expected. Unfortunately, Leonne wasn't able to hear what Chase said to her over the mic when her eyes went wide with shock at what lay before her: a Volkov Sniper Rifle, brand new and still shiny.
"Merde... zis place is-" she said, but she heard a door slam open from the location she had entered from, and she quickly brought up her comlink "Chase, don't shoot zem! I'll 'andle zis!"
She brought about her active camo and moved into a corner, waiting for someone to come into the room and report an 'all clear' before deciding to take care of the 'minor problem' they had encountered.
Delta Team Curt - January 26, 2008 07:27 PM (GMT)
Chase looked up, hearing the door opened. He heard the radio transmission, pulling out his pistol. He snapped the laptop shut, standing up and going next to the door. He switched the saftey off, ready if they found him.
The Guardian stepped into the room, looking around. Chase was concealed behind the cabinet next to the door. He hoped he didnt step into the room farther. Chases worst fear was realized as the soldier saw the laptop, moving into investigate.
Chase screwed a silencer onto this gun, something he was hesitant to do before since it was heavy and made the gun cumbersome. He raised it, lining the iron sights up over the mans back. He pulled, the projectile striking the soldier and he landed with a thud on the floor. He pulled it again, making sure the soldier was dead. He freaked out for a second, it had been the first time he had killed a man, not just a Geth.
Athena - January 26, 2008 07:46 PM (GMT)
One of the guards entered, dressed in relatively light armor and with an assault rifle raised. He looked around the room and eventually looked right at her, but with he active camo, all he saw was the wall behind her. He turned to leave and made his way out the door, which is when Leonne struck.
She drew her molecular blade in an instant, dashing forward and placing a firm hold on the man's shoulder. She spun the blade around in her right hand and stuck it into the back of the man's skull, killing him instantly, despite the fact that his body remained frozen in place by his suit for several moments. As the man fell, she left the room, taking noted of the sound of silenced weapons fire from the room Chase was in.
'Shit! I told him not to fire!' she thought as she drew her assault rifle, her active camo hanging on by a thread.
She saw another guard coming in at the sound of the weapons fire, his weapon raised. She fired first, catching the man off guard with a barrage of silenced automatic fire that eventually broke down his kinetic barrier and then tore a fair number of holes in his armor, though doing so deactivated her active camo. She sidestepped into the room and quickly located Chase, whom she noted was not in the best of emotional phases.
'Oh shit... he hasn't ever had to do that, has he?' Leonne thought as she put a hand on each of his shoulders.
"Chase, I need you to get into zat system and pull up everyzing you can regarding ze geth: Tactics, weapons, armor, mindset, everyzing and anyzing you can find before I tell you we're leaving. Do you understand me?" Leonne asked in as serious a tone as she could muster, as she put a hand on each of Chase's shoulders "Don't zink about what just 'appened, focus on ze job so we can both get out alive, understand?"
She'd had to finish he 'pep talk' quickly. If there were guards, then they might have reported in when they found the ship. Plus, the Guardians never moved in units smaller than four, and she had only counted three corpses... meaning she needed to secure the outside ASAP.
'Why can't a mission jut go the way I planned it for once, it would be so much easier.' she thought absentmindedly.
Delta Team Curt - January 26, 2008 08:13 PM (GMT)
Chase listened to her, trying to process it. He just kept staring at the body, unable to do anything else. All he could think about is how he had just killed someone.
"Don't zink about what just 'appened, focus on ze job so we can both get out alive, understand?"
He nodded, trying to push the thoughts from his mind. He focused on his sister, how he would never be able to see her again if he didn’t get out of here. It worked, his mind started to function, allowing him to walk over to the computer. He couldn’t push it totally from his mind, slowing him down.
He started typing, pushing through a few of the weaker security VI’s. He wasn’t fast enough though, the programs starting to block him from the system. He was going about typing robotically just doing it out of memory instead of his usual enthusiasm and skill. A red flag popped up, saying a VI had blocked him from one of the servers.
He took no notice, just trying to keep from being blocked from the other ones.
Athena - January 26, 2008 09:02 PM (GMT)
After Chase was settled in at the computer, she made her way outside, her active camo reactivating as she traversed the hallway. She opened the door and slipped out carefully, moving slowly so as to not create too much of a distortion with her camo. She glanced around the general vicinity, taking notice of the two guards near the ship, one of which was radioing into the base. She swore softly under her breath, noting that things were about to get really hectic, really quickly.
'Well, my cover is already blown so...' Leonne thought as she ran at one of the soldiers full speed, her active camo flickering off as she ran.
She leapt at one of the guards as her active camo completely faded, striking him full force in the face with a kick that send him tumbling to the ground. She had kicked so that she would bring her rifle to bear on the other guard, firing off a fully automatic burst that tore through the guard's shields and armor, blowing a good chunk of his face off.
She returned her attention to the guard after she had finished landing, and kicked him hard in the gut when he attempted to get up. It hurt her to do so, but it did provide her the opportunity to stomp on his neck and snap it in a moment with a sickening crack. She continued to look around, this time through the scope of her rifle, checking for anyone in the surrounding area. Seeing noone, she brought her comlink to life and contacted Chase.
"Ze guards are done, but you 'ave to 'urry. Ze radioed in, so we need to get ze 'ell out of 'ere ASAP." she said, continuing to check for guards.
Michael Carson - January 26, 2008 11:11 PM (GMT)
OCC: i wont be able to post till later so hold off if you two can i have something planned,
Michael Carson - January 27, 2008 03:55 AM (GMT)
Michael smirked as her heard the two men whisper, he wasn't quite sure why he need a guard detail in the first place to be honest.
"Major Michael Carson in case your wondering. Don't forget I have the same augmentations as you do and i happen to be in charge of this organization" he said with a small chuckle. Michael was far from a hard ass and remembered the days that he complained about bullshit assignments like guard detail.
With the newest member to the group they continued on the tours visiting the facilities many areas. They ended up in the COC just as a little commotion was starting. A SgtMaj. was leaning over another mans shoulder as he replayed a transmission for the SgtMaj. to hear.
"...single occupant fighter found at location bravo-delta-673, investigating the outpos.." the audio was cut short by a weapon burst. Michael stood watching quietly as the men and women in the room reacted immediately.
"I want RRT's out their right now, reaction strategy Charlie. We don't know what kind of threat we are facing to take no chances. Cpl. do we have any video in that outpost?" Asked the Sgt.
"No sir...but someone is attempting to access our network from an old port in the building"
"Isolated and lockout that connection, do not let them into our systems." With that the Cpl. quickly tapped commands into his console. Above in the garage Guardians in full armor loaded into transports with one tank as armor support, and headed out at full speed for the outpost.
Delta Team Curt - January 27, 2008 04:07 AM (GMT)
Chase started to act faster, shutting down security VIs with ease now. He had hacked into the first server, downloading the information straight to his laptop. He started on the second, starting the download. His laptop displayed a lockout warning, he immediately plugged in one of his algorithms, over riding the command.
"Ze guards are done, but you 'ave to 'urry. Ze radioed in, so we need to get ze 'ell out of 'ere ASAP."
'Fuck, not done yet' he screamed in his head. He allowed the transfer to be cut out by security, his screen clearing its self and leaving the background. He unplugged the connection, closing the laptop and grabbing his pistol. He sprinted down the hall and out of the outpost, stopping next to Leonne.
"I only got about two servers, don't know what were on them" he told her.
Athena - January 27, 2008 05:02 AM (GMT)
"Two is better zan none, now get you ass on ze ship now!" she ordered, knowing that, if her plan was to be finished up ASAP, then she'd have to get the hacker moving as fast as it was possible for his body to carry him.
Leonne followed Chase onto the ship and quickly made her way to the cockpit, praying to god that it would hurry the hell up. After she was finally in position, the VI crackled to life.
"Good day my Mistress, how may I be of se-"
"I want zis ship, in ze air, five minute ago!" Leonne screamed at the machine as the doors shut behind her, trapping Chase in the back quarters.
She had done so on purpose, as she may need every bit of room she could muster in order to avoid what may amount to a large fighter battle. She had an ace up her sleeve though, and she luckily had a good majority of the variables in the palms of her hands.
The ship lifted off a moment later, and it was only as a tank round passed just to the right of her ship, to which she saw it pass by her cockpit window, that she punched it and began to fly in an evasive pattern up into the atmosphere.
Delta Team Curt - January 27, 2008 05:31 AM (GMT)
Chase watched as the wall locked him into the quarters, sealing him off from what was going on. He pulled out his laptop, sitting down on the bed. He opened it, opening the data he had managed to collect from the base.
The first servers data was marked AGSTGETH_DATA.dat
He looked through the data, it was what she had asked him to get, and he was lucky that he had 'stumbled' into the server. He scanned over the data, making mental notes about it. The then closed it pulling up the second set, the name displayed was AGSTPERSONNEL_DATABASE.dat.
He looked through the 60 or so files he had managed to download, all seemed to be pretty important people to the Guardians. Team leaders, the Guardian Director, some officers, etc. Then he looked at an interesting file, it had Renee's picture.
"Leonne" he muttered, reading the file.
Athena - January 27, 2008 05:56 AM (GMT)
Having managed to, by luck and intuition alone, dodge several more tank and rocket rounds, it looked as if she would be, more or less, in the clear. However, she knew the Guardians better than that, and she knew they would NOT let an attempt at infiltration go unpunished. They would pursue her and Chase... unless she could provide them with more than ample reason to not do so.
She quickly brought up the long distance communications making sure that it was not patched into Chase in the back. She didn't need to bring a third wheel into the conversation.
"Zis is ze SSV 'iryuu, and zis is 'er pilot. I ask to speak to Major Michael Carson." Leonne spoke with a strength in her voice that few thought possible "My name is Leonne, ex-First Lieutenant of ze Alliance Military, and ex-Ghost of ze Alliacne STO."
Michael Carson - January 27, 2008 02:13 PM (GMT)
Michael stood over the Comm officers shoulder as he gave him an order.
"I want the SSV Denver to launch six of her dragon flies and than move into position to block the mass relay. The Milan will arrive soon to provide support" he said as the man quickly sent a transmission to the Milan's CO. Carson stood back and watched the video feed from the RRT's as they secured the outpost. The fighter had already lifted off into the atmosphere.
"Sir its the pilot of the fighter...she is asking for you personally" Said the Comm officer. With a quizzical expression on his face Michael accepted the headset and sat down at the station. On a screen was any know data on the person. A few pieces of information caught his eye.
Name: Leonne
"Drafted’ into the STO at age 18 due to exceptional skills in stealth, tactics, CQB, and omnitool usage. Trained for a year before being put on active duty. Was considered the best STO Ghost for three years."
"chosen as the test subject for the XSR000 prototype stealth armor and experimental Guardian augmentation."
"designers and techs who made and applied the armor were found murdered, the suit and Leonne were both gone"
"Leonne this is Major Michael Carson, looks like you decided to stop by for a visit. Decided to return the suit you stole? or are you here for another reason?"
Bane - January 27, 2008 04:11 PM (GMT)
Lt. Schreck and the rest of the security team stood behind the major patiently. Someone had attacked an outpost, killed fellow Guardians, and stolen intel, Matt was going to find them, and kill them.
He waited for the reply from the comm booth.

Leonne smirked as she heard Michael respond to her over the com system.
"Major, I 'ope ze routine visit 'as gone well so far. I must admit, zings did not go quite as planned when I landed for a visit." Leonne said, her voice hiding her smile "I didn't want to kill zose men, but zey didn't leave me a choice in ze matter. Anyway, let's get down to business: ze way I see it, you 'ave four options:"
"One: You shoot me out of ze air, killing me and an innocent civilian, and destroying the suit."
"Two: You capture ze ship, force ze civilian into working for you due to protocols regarding secrecy, and eizer kill or imprison me."
"Zree: Same as two, only you accept me into ze ranks of ze Guardians, given zat I 'ave proven to be better zan five of your men combined."
"Four: You take no immediate action, I stop my flight, and we work out an agreement in which we both win... and the geth inevitably lose."
"If I were you, I'd go wiz eizer zree or four, given zat I 'ave several zings regarding ze geth zat would greatly benefit not only you, but the rest of ze universe as well." Leonne concluded, now praying that she had gotten a pretty good read on Michael's psychological profile.
Michael Carson - January 27, 2008 11:16 PM (GMT)
Michael was a fair man but Leonne seemed to think she had the power in this situation, that was not the case nor would he allow her to continue to think it was.
"Leonna you will be escorted by our fighters to the ground and from their will be transported into this facility where we will continue this discussion face to face. That is your only option. If you refuse you will not leave this planet" With that he turned towards Lt.Richards
"proceed topside and bring out guest to conference room 3, Use extreme prejudice when dealing with her. Strip her of her weapons and take the most direct route to the room. Ill be waiting there."
Michael nodded towards the SgtMaj. who proceeded to put the base on High Alert.
Athena - January 27, 2008 11:40 PM (GMT)
"Alright, Major." was Leonne's response, her voice seemingly frightened beneath the smile that she wore "I shall land directly in front of ze base, and zough ze escorts are not needed, ze are appreciated."
She snapped off the long range comlink and flicked the one to the rest of the ship on.
"Chase, you might want to buckle up and 'old tight. We're about to be 'arrested'." Leonne said as six fighters approached and flanked her on every side.
It was not necessary to escort her, she had planned to arrive peacefully the second time according to her 2nd backup plan. Still, it would be several moments before she'd be in anyone's eyeshot, so she brought up her omnitool and quickly entered a series of security codes as the VI took them back down to the ground. After a moment, she smirked as the words 'Biometric Tracking' appeared on her omnitool screen, knowing that her secret 'ace in the hole' was going to be quite the life saver.

"Chase, you might want to buckle up and 'old tight. We're about to be 'arrested'."
He looked up at the small speaker. He walked over and pushed the intercom button.
"What the hell, Arrested?" he said into the microphone.
He didnt know what was going on, he felt the ship starting to descend. He grabbed his laptop and stashed it in his bag, hoping that he wouldnt loose it when they were arrested.
Athena - January 28, 2008 12:50 AM (GMT)
"What the hell, Arrested?"
"It seems zat ze commander is not very lenient on ze fact zat I killed off all five of 'is guards." she explained, hoping that he caught onto her hint "Zey are going to allow me to meet wiz ze leader of ze Guardians, which is when I'll work out a deal so zat we boz win... or I'll die trying. Anyway, 'old tight, we'll be landing soon."
A few minutes later, she had landed the SSV Hiryuu in front of the Alliance base, the only 'known' entrance to the base within the mountain. As her helmet was secure, she opened up the cockpit to the sight of countless armed guards. She also opened up the doors to let Chase out, as they would damage the ship to get him otherwise. She carefully stood up and leaped out of the ship, landing in a slight crouch.
"Up! Now!" one of the guards commanded, stepping forward slightly to make sure Leonne knew that it was he who was speaking.
Leonne complied as four guards began to approach her, one holding his rifle directly at her face while the other quickly removed her three weapons.
"Remove your helmet, now!" the guard who had been speaking before commanded.
She did as she was told, popping the mirror-shaded helmet off to reveal her head and goggles underneath. They obviously didn't think communications and visual equipment were dangerous, so they allowed her to keep them. They then cuffed her wrists, which elicited a chuckle from Leonne.
"What's so god damn funny?!" one of the four guards yelled at her, pointing the gun directly into her face.
"Ze fact zat it takes a platoon of men to capture one little girl." she taunted, though all it brought her was the butt of an assault rifle across the right side of her cheek.
"Shut your fucking mouth!" he yelled at her as she was painfully yanked to her feet.
'Great, I hate these assholes already." Leonne thought as they prepared to take both her and Chase into the base.
Delta Team Curt - January 28, 2008 01:26 AM (GMT)
Chase complied with the soldiers, not wanting to get in anymore trouble. He could easily be facing at least 10-20 years in prison for this stunt. One of the guards tried to take his bag, and he started to yell at him.
"Get the hell off me, dont mess with my stuff" he yelled at the man.
The guard didnt listen, pulling the bag off of him. Chase tried to jump forward at him, but the guard held him in place, and he hurt his shoulders. He looked at the guard as he went through the bag, pulling out his laptop.
"Thats mine, you dont have any fucking right to touch it" he yelled agian.
The guard just looked at him, not giving any though to the young man. He handed it to one of the other guards. Chase was now scared and angry, he could be in prison for life, and he had lost the last thing he had.

Leonne was, rather roughly, lead through the rather thick doors to the base. The halls were... rather dull and cold, and they brought up memories, none of them good, within Leonne. Luckily, her jaw wasn't too damaged, and she doubted it would bruise too badly, so there was something positive to all this.
They passed by several security stations, and went through several scanners that, she assumed, was to determine if she had any geth hybridization within her. Obviously, she passed the scanners with no difficulties, unless you counted the roughness that the guards treated her with as a difficulty. She decided to lay off the jokes and wisecracks though, she had an underlying urge to appear more professional in the presence of the man she'd be speaking to.
They arrived at a rather formal looking door, which she assumed to be the 'conference' room. Hopefully, it was a conference room... not a 'conference' room.

Lt. Schreck sized up the female standing before him, he instinctively knew that she was very dangerous. Although his facial expression or the sweat running down his forehead couldn't be seen through his helmet and visor, he rocked back and forth as if shaking off the fear that had coursed through him for a brief second.
He was a Guardian, highly trained and eager to avenge the deaths of his fallen comrades, he knew he would have no trouble taking her down when the time came.
Michael Carson - January 29, 2008 02:43 AM (GMT)
Michael sat down putting a few papers out in front of him. Conference room 3 had been prepared to stop any subspace signals that might have been transmitted. This was highly unusual and he was about to get down to the bottom of this. As he looked over the data on this "chase" a knock came from the door.
"Bring them in" was Michaels response.
(OOC:sorry for the half assed post in busy today)
Athena - January 31, 2008 01:41 AM (GMT)
(I wanted to move this ahead, so I modded my previous post)
Leonne and Chase were pushed into the room a moment later, and to Leonne's relief, it was an actual conference room. Guards were throughout, and it was clear that there was no real getting out of the room alive, but it was still a more pleasant area.
'I'll be damned, this is going better than I thought.' Leonne thought as she quickly looked the room over, locating any 'weaker' guards and accruing all possible options should the shit hit the fan.
She noticed a heavily decorated man sitting behind the table, and knew instantly that this was the guy she was looking to talk to.
"You must be Major Carson. It's a 'onor to meet ze CO of ze Alliance's Guardians." she said with as normal a smile as she could muster, accompanied by a pleasant tone "You don't mind if I sit, do you?"
Delta Team Curt - February 1, 2008 08:07 PM (GMT)
Chase looked around the room, recognizing it from the blueprints of the base had looked at. He saw a few chairs around him, using his foot he pulled one to him, the guard behind him watched him carefully, going for his pistol if he was up to something
He sat down, leaning back in the chair. He was trying to look nonchalant, pretty confident that he should have rights and was probably about invulnerable as long as he didn't cause trouble.
"You must be Major Carson. It's a 'onor to meet ze CO of ze Alliance's Guardians. You don't mind if I sit, do you?"
He had heard the name once before, he couldn't remember where he got it from. Server he must of hacked, or mabey some data he bought once.
"So Carson, am i getting my laptop back? I had some stuff on their i would like to..." He was cut off by a guard pushing down on his chair and slamming the two front legs to the floor.
"Alright, chill man" he said, staying quiet this time.
Michael Carson - February 1, 2008 08:29 PM (GMT)
Michael watched them enter the room and and heard the sound of the door click shut. Leonne's eyes quickly looked around the room, probably assessing the situation as any soldier would. Her companion chase seemed pretty confident with himself in this situation and threw his legs up on the table.
"You must be Major Carson. It's a 'onor to meet ze CO of ze Alliance's Guardians. You don't mind if I sit, do you?"
"So Carson, am i getting my laptop back? I had some stuff on their i would like to..." He was cut off by a guard pushing down on his chair and slamming the two front legs to the floor."
A Guardian quickly knocked his feet to the ground and said
"You will refer to him as Major Sir at all times!" Lt.Richards said. Michael stood up walked over to a side table and picked up two folders and took his seat again.
"Please be seated Leonne and to answer your question Chase yes you will be getting your laptop back.....once all the material pertaining to this base, personnel, and anything else of an illegal nature has been removed. that is if you leave this facility"
Michael poured himself a cup of water and than slide the pitcher towards the two. He took a sip and put it down letting out a slow sigh.
"I am a fair man i like to think, but you put me in a situation were my hands are basically tied. You have been caught and will be charged with downloading information from an high security alliance military base and the killing 5 service men. The mandate of this organization is the protection of humanity from the Geth. I can interpret our current situation as you attempting to derail that mission." Michael stared at them taking another sip. He was unsure of their intentions but didn't want to jump to conclusions.
"I have the authority to sentence you to death right here, i can lock you up and you'll never see the light of day again....give me a reason not to..."
